Mikey's Secret

Chapter 1-

I went to meet him today at the skatepark. We are skating around.

"So you still thinking about how to tell them?" Mondo asks.

"How did you know?" Mikey asks.

"You have a look in your eye," Mondo smiles.

Mondo fell off his skateboard. He hit the ground knocking the wind out of himself. A large shadow comes and picks him up. It's a teen boy with curly dark brown on a skateboard. Mondo is feeling scared. He's never been seen by a human other than his human friends and his parents.

"Wow, what are you?" He asks.

"I'm a gecko," He says.

"I like you, you are so cute," He compliments.

"Thank you?" Mondo thanks.

He notices Mikey watching from the shadows.

"Hey, kid. I got your friend. It's okay you can come out. I'm not gonna hurt you," He promised.

Mikey stayed in the shadows. The teenager pats the top of Mondo's head.

"I'm Beau. What's your name, kid?" Beau asks.

"My name is Mondo Gecko," Mondo introduced himself.

Beau sees something looking at him. Two blue eyes.

"Are you like him?" Beau asked.

He nodded.

"I promise not to freak out but I get it. You're cautious about new people I get that," Beau smiles.

Beau sits next to Mondo. Beau hands Mondo a bag of chips. Mondo opens it. He eats a snack with Beau. Mikey stepped out of the shadows. Beau looked at him stunned. Beau hugs Mikey. Mikey returns the hug.

"You look awesome," Beau smiles.

"Thank you?" Mikey laughed.

Beau gave him a bag of snacks.

"What are you doing here all by yourself?" Mikey asked.

"I was supposed to be meeting a friend but then he and his girlfriend had to go out for "date night", so I went skating by myself," Beau answered.

Mikey smiled. He fistbumps Beau. Mikey's phone rings.

"Hello?" Mikey greets.

"Hey, Leo. What's up?" Mikey asks.

"Okay, we're coming back," Mikey says.

"Leo said it's time for training. You wanna come, Mondo?" Mikey asks.

"Sure," Mondo replied.

Beau was laughing at Mondo he was skating while doing a handstand on his board.

"Bye, Beau!" Mikey says.

"See ya later dude!" Mondo calls.

"Bye!" Beau calls.

Beau continues to skateboard.

Mikey and Mondo head back home. When they reached the lair. They come in to see, Leo, Raph, Donnie, April, Casey, Splinter, Slash, Rockwell, and Leatherhead waiting for them in the living room.

"Hey, guys I thought there was no training today?" Mikey asked.

"There isn't but we've been worried about you," Leo says.

"Why?" Mikey lies.

"Because you've been acting different lately. Is everything okay?" Donnie asks.

"Yeah," Mikey lied.
