         After the death of this peak Yin level cultivator, some sanity instantly returned to the greed filled eyes of the others.
They could all presume that a powerful beast was guarding this herb and it wouldn't be easy to snatch the spirit herb from the beast.

More and more people arrived and when some particularly powerful or famous juniors arrived, the attention of the crowd would temporarily shift to that person.

A few hours later when over five hundred youths were gathered, some juniors at the forefront of the group glanced at each other and nodded.

One of them then stepped forward and spoke loudly,
"Brother Gu yuan, there is no need to keep hiding in the crowd. At this point, only you can help us out" 

"Gu yuan? Which Gu yuan?" Someone inquired.
"How many Gu clans do you know?"
"Oh my god!. The pill Gu clan's Gu yuan?"

The crowd was momentarily stunned after which an uproar which soon calmed down ensued.

The crowd followed the man's line of sight and saw a white robed youth with a scholarly face. How cultivation was not very impressive though. He was at the rank eight Yin level. In any other place, his cultivation would be quite good and even exceptional but in a place like the blue sky province and the Yin ghost forest, only those at the yang level had the strength to protect themselves.

Nevertheless, no one dared to underestimate him. That was because of his backing; the pill Gu clan.
The pill Gu clan's reputation wasn't based on its strength. It wasn't anything when compared to the other forces of the province.

The main reason it was popular was because the clan focused mainly on the dao of alchemy or pill refining. Almost all of the clan members neglected their martial cultivation and focused on their soul cultivation because pill refining was only possible using the soul power.

No matter where one was, pills were undoubtedly a very important necessity to any cultivator. Therefore the alchemist who refines pills are respected and enjoys fame no matter where they may be. The blue sky province was no different.

And the pill Gu clan was a clan which refined and supplied pills to the various numerous forces within and around blue sky province. They were famous throughout the province and their members were respected by many.

That was why Gu yuan's presence was so exciting. No one present recognized this spirit herb and how to go about harvesting it.

Gu yuan was also an alchemist who could refine Yang grade pills. He should know a thing or two about this herb.

Gu yuan was obviously displeased after being called out. He cast a bitter glance at the person who spoke up first.

The person laughed and cupped his fist.
"Brother Gu shouldn't take my offence to heart. We only need you to help us identify which spirit herb is this and you can return to being silent" his words might have sounded polite, but it carried a deeper meaning.
If he didn't speak up, he would not have a minute to rest and might even draw the crowd's ire to himself.

Gu yuan grimaced and frowned slightly before relaxing his brows.
"Mid grade spirit herb, the Yin essence purity flower. It possess a minimum of three leaves and up to nine leaves maximum. Grows up only in places with dense Yin energy and can be used to refine the spirit grade pill, the Yin purifying pill. It can strengthen the dao concepts of Yin based dao cultivators and purifies the inner energy." he paused and looked around before smiling. "It is almost always guarded by a matured ghost python which is normally at the rank one spirit level."

Listening to his words, many people's faces became grim. Who had the courage to steal something from a spirit level beast?

Many people felt that this was a hopeless situation and instantly left. On the other hand, the man who first called Gu yuan out stared at him suspiciously.
"Is that all brother Gu knows? Nothing more?"
