We are masters at complaining about life
We complain because we wake up late for work
We complain because we have to go to work
We complain because the coffee is too sweet
We complain because the bread is not warm
We complain because of the traffic
We complain because we arrive late at work
We complain because the hours don't pass
We complain because lunch time passed quickly
We complain because the boss picked on us
We complain on the way home, about tiredness, about still having to make dinner
But we don't stop for a minute to be grateful for having woken up another day
By having a loaf of bread on the table For having a job
For having a roof over your head and a warm bed to rest at the end of the day. Give more thanks, because life isn't made of defeats alone.
Be thankful for waking up another day. Be thankful that you're still alive.
