Hello all.
This is for the students among us.
I want to start by saying that nothing is too hard for God and there's no height you can't attain by the special Grace of God.

So I want to encourage us today to put our academic lives into the hands of the Lord.

I'm a very shy person and I always fear that a lecturer will call me to answer a question in class, especially when I don't know the answer.
I spoke to God about it and he gave me a word 'Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.'
Since that day, I've never been called upon by a lecturer and I'll never be.
I've held on to that word for over 4 years of college and I'm still holding on to it.
Be rest assured that God will NEVER go back on his word.

So please, speak to God about whatever it is that burdens you academically.
Whether it's a particular lecturer or a course that bothers you, lay it on the Lord.
Express yourself, let him know, be vulnerable with him, he wants to help you, he wants to be there for you, he's listening to you, he loves you very much and he wants you to do well at school.

Of course, you have your own part to play.
You have to study hard and be consistent, be a good student and God will crown your efforts with success.

There was a point when my CGPA dropped a little and the only way it could rise was by me getting A in a particular course.
Before the result of the course was released, the lecturer in charge told us that the result was very bad, a lot of people failed and just 5 people had A.
5 out of over 400 students taking the course.
I was really worried and I spoke to God.
What came to my mind instantly was 'A thousand might fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.' (Psalm 91:7).
I felt relieved and I kept on trusting God, when the result was released, I had an A.
I was overjoyed and I couldn't even believe it.

I'm not trying to boast as it is not even by my intelligence but by the special Grace of God, all I want to do is to encourage someone here today.
God can make your academic life extremely successful even beyond your expectations.
'Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.' Ephesians 3:20.

So please, trust God with your academics, cast your burdens on him, believe in him and he shall do wonders.
You also have to pray before and after your exams, speak good things to your answer booklet.
Academic life is not easy, at all but I believe we shall all do well by the Grace of God.

Let us pray.
My Father in Heaven, I thank you for everything you've done for me.
Please come into my life and take charge of my academics.
Help me to go forward, Lord.
Make the path smoother for me.
I commit all my lecturers and all the courses I'm taking into your hands. Please take control.
My father, please grant me Favour from above.
(Please proceed to talk about any academic issues you're facing).
Thank you Lord for answering my prayers.
May I return to give all Glory to your Holy Name.
In Jesus' mighty name I have prayed.

Have a good day my brothers and sisters.
Shalom.
My DM is always open to tend to further questions.
