Good day all.
We all know that we live in such scary times.
There's a lot of evil going on.
Unspeakable things are happening, every day we see devastating things on the news.
It is necessary to ask the Lord for divine protection in these times.
We need to pray for ourselves, our family members, our friends, our neighbours.
With all the accidents, killings, kidnappings and spiritual battles going on in the world, we have a duty to decree our protection.
The Lord said 'I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.' -Luke 10:19 (NIV)
God has given us dominion, over everything, over pain, over sickness, over trials, over tribulations, over every work of darkness.
Let us key into this word.
We are of a royal priesthood.
The children of the living God.
Surely, no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper.
We are God's own.
'What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?' -Romans 8:31 (NKJV)
God is for us so nobody can be against us.
God loves us, he wants us to be safe. He wants us to be protected. He doesn't want any form of evil to fall upon us.
So God is here, let us pray to him to give us divine protection.
It is very important to protect ourselves, these are scary times.
Let us endeavour to pray a prayer of protection every day, every night.
Before you go out, speak upon your day, come against any evil waiting for you.
Ask the Lord to order your footsteps.
When you are about to sleep too, pray for protection.
Things are happening, evil is very very real.
Let's just pray to never experience it, and let us bask in the confidence we have as God's children.
Prayer for Protection
'Lord Jesus, thank you for keeping me till today, Thank you for your protection upon my life.
Father, have mercy upon me.
Cover my going out and my coming in.
My father please protect me from every form of accident.
No evil shall befall me.
I shall not be kidnapped.
By the power in the name of Jesus, I am divinely protected.
My family and friends are divinely protected.
I cover my body, spirit and soul with the blood of Jesus.
Let the fire of the Holy Ghost surround me now.
Lord, let your angels come down and watch over me.
I cover my house with the blood of Jesus.
I surround my house with the fire of the Holy Ghost.
I cover the doors, the windows, the ceiling with the blood of Jesus.
No evil presence shall come near my dwellling place.
It is well with me.
In Jesus name, Amen.'
So brothers and sisters, let us endeavour to stay safe and above all commit everything to God's hands.
