The next day, we moved Bella into one of the side rooms. Rosalie and Alice had changed her into a lovely blue dress, and Carlisle was wiping up all the blood off of her. We were all waiting for her to finish the transition.
"She shouldn't be this still," Edward said concerned "It's the morphine," Carlisle told him. He had wanted it for me when we planned my transition, but I wasn't lucky enough to get that advantage. "Maybe I was too late," Edward said, not convinced "No, Edward. Listen to her heart."
We could all hear Bella's heart slowly beating, meaning the venom had saved her a bit, and she was now in transition. The only thing we could do was wait for her to finish it.
Rosalie was holding Renesmee, and I was standing right next to her when Bella's heart stopped beating. It was silent for a moment.
And then.....
Her eyes opened to a bright red color...
My sister was alive.
