Being a girl in this world is nothing less than cut throat. We're always in competition. You can deny it. Most do. Saying that you don't care what people think about you but you do. You get hurt when people in the grocery store stare and whisper. You get upset when the others in school laugh. It's a girl thing. We're influenced by those around us. We want to be pretty. Though, we don't agree on the same definition of beauty. I actually model for my sisters clothing store. She's an amazing designer. I'm so normal it hurts but because of my line of work I mingle with the big cats. I party with people who make more money in a day than I do in a week. This is the life. I don't need complications.

"He's staring at you again." Justice whispered in my ear from behind me. Justice is my gay best friend. I love him entirely too much.

"Maybe he'd stop if you stopped staring back." I suggested looking over at the guy who was in VIP like us staring at me. He had looked away but was smiling at the glass in his hands.

"He's the sexiest guy in here. You should see what he wants." He elbows me lightly.

I shake my head and smile turning back to him. Justice was a model but not like me. He was extremely skinny. Gorgeous cheek bones. Bright blue hair because that's just him. Justice was wild. He loved to be original. That's why I loved him. "You know me. I believe if a man is interested he should come to the lady." I elbow him back. "He is pretty hot though. I mean, have you sen arm muscles like that lately? I bet he's a drummer."

"You really have a thing for musicians, don't you?" He raised an eyebrow and took a sip of his drink.

"You have no idea." I smiled glancing over at the guy one more time. He vanished. I knew who he was. I was just humoring Justice. He actually was the drummer from one of my favorite bands. 5SOS. His name was Ashton Irwin. He was Australian.

"Everyone in here keeps staring at you. Nice choice of outfit by the way." Justice said sarcastically.

I raised an eyebrow. "Whats wrong with it?" It was a tight white dress that came to mid thigh. It was very low cut but small strips of fabric criss crossed over the cut and wove up into thick straps over my shoulders. Not very revealing if you ask me.

"Somehow, you're boobs grew six sizes in that thing." His laughed cracked loudly. "It looks too good. If there is a single man who hasn't checked you out he's gay."

I laughed too. "Good, then you won't have trouble deciding whos gay for yourself."

"Ooo!! Gorgeous is headed this way." He hooted excitedly. I turned my head to look where he had been earlier. He wasn't there. "Not there. Over there!" Justice pointed to the right of us.

He was staring at me, a small smile on his lips. "Uh oh. What do I do?" I hadn't talked to a guy in god knows how long.

"Are you kidding me?" Justice laughed. "You sit there and look good and I'll talk."

"No. I'll talk. You'll get me into some shit." I said seriously.

"Yes, I will."

I watched him make his way through to us. The music seemed louder than normal, the lights less bright. I looked at his friends out of the corner of my eye. They were watching with sly grins on their faces. I had a feeling they had bet he wouldn't come talk to me or I'd reject him. I bet they were wrong. "His friends." I nodded toward them as Justice looked.

He smiled but didn't say anything. He looked at Ashton who was maybe two feet away. I cracked a smile when he was close enough for me to actually hear him speak. "Hi. I'm Ashton."
