Over the past of couple of days I have had a horrible realization about how big of a hypocrite I am.
I have been writing a message at the end of each and every author note of mine - 'Bye and Spread Love.' But due to my ignorance, I only spread the message but did not advocate it as I should have.
Today, I want to change that.
Deep regret fills me as while I was celebrating Diwali and Bhai Dooj safely with my family, people in one part of the world were dying. I did not think it an issue that should concern me, engrossed in the festivities and preparation for my pre-board examinations.
But today, I wish to comment on the Israel-Palestine conflict, in lieu of which OVER 11,240 people have been killed, including 4,630 children.

A BASIC OVERVIEW
The Israel-Palestine conflict is a long-standing political and territorial dispute between Israelis and Palestinians. It primarily revolves around competing national aspirations and claims to the same land. Both Israelis and Palestinians assert historical and religious ties to the region.
In 1947, the United Nations proposed a partition plan to create separate Jewish and Arab states, with Jerusalem as an international city. While Jewish leaders accepted the plan, Arab leaders rejected it, leading to the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The war resulted in the establishment of the State of Israel and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.
Since then, the conflict has seen several wars, uprisings, and peace processes. Key issues include the borders of Israel, the status of Jerusalem, the rights of Palestinian refugees, and the overall question of Palestinian statehood.
SO BASICALLY -
Israel wants (FOR A LONG TIME) Palestine's entire territory, and for the same, they expel or kill Palestinians for it.

This has been going on 75 years and nothing has changed yet. That is why Hamas was created and this is why it attacked on Israel on 7th October. This resulted in 800 DEAD CIVILLIANS AND 2243 WOUNDED ONES. Then, Israel responded by violently attacking innocent civilians EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Mind you - Israel is one of the most powerful militaries in the world and its now supported by USA, another country with powerful military.
