Hello reader, how are you?
And how do I thank you enough for deciding to spend your precious time on this highly experimental and impulsive book?
[I love you, muah!]
Now, before you start reading this book, let me reiterate the points from the book's description.
This is a FICTIONAL story, based on Radha, the Hindu goddess.
Yes. From my childhood, I've grown around with ragas of Krishna and his mischiefs, and about Radha yearning for Krishna; with stories and serials about Lord Krishna, his life, his lessons.
But, amidst all of that, I've noticed that there is not much about Radha, and her life. I mean, there must be something more to her than just being a lover and a devotee, right?
It might not be factually right, its just a figment of my imagination.
Again, as I said, there is not much about Radha. People even debate on whether she was real or not! Which I am not commenting on. This story is just a little girl's imagination. Its just how I imagine and how I think of Radha.
As we know that no one really knows much about Radha, so do I. That is why, I just THOUGHT of how her character would be, her personality would be, what kind of flaws would she have.
Re-emphasizing my last point.
CONSIDER ALL OF THE CHARACTERS AS CHARACTERS.
Oh, yes. I am a person who believes in God, and Hindu Mythology (although I will not call myself religious). I have seen how people are taunted, raped and murdered in the name of religion, although no religion promotes violence. That is why, to read this story, YOU MUST NOT BE A PESON WITH AN RELIGIOUSLY EXTREMIST MINDSET. Take this story - as a story. Remember these characters - as mere characters.
Don't shame people for being religious, following other religions, or being an atheist.
And yes, even if you are an atheist, you are very much welcome to read this story. Because trust me, you don't have to believe in anything to read this story.
Everyone, just consider this -
Radha is a girl from Barsana. She has a hefty and confusing life. She falls for a charming loveable boy who also happens to become extremely wise and powerful by time and bombarded with a lot of responsibilities. The girl stays in her village, fighting everything that comes in her way because of her love story, or despite and for her love story.
THATS IT.
Okay?
Okay.
And also, I'll keep editing things while writing the story here and there, but I'll let you know. Because once I see something weird or wrong, I can't stop myself. And I intend to do that a lot.
Once again, thanks for choosing my story.
...
Go on!
