Y'all must be wondering why the winds changed just like Nic and my beloved sister Katerina. Note the sarcasm. Well, the winds haven't changed I just changed the course of approaching the situation. You know the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Besides that Katerina was now calling all the shots since she got married to the hunk. It was not good to get on her bad side. Up until now I was wondering why Max chose her, she was a disgusting bitch.  He could've chosen Nic but no he went for her. Ugh! It angered me more. Why do bad people always get the nice things?

I was not the only one who loathed her though. Even Nic exibited signs of hatred towards her and I'm pretty sure a monster she buried was waiting to be unleashed.

Remembering I had to get the snacks, I groaned and marched towards the kitchen. I could not believe I was doing this and even suggested a girl's night with my enemy. As I walked, my mind kept drifting to finding ways of getting rid of Katerina and get away with murder.

I was about to turn down the hall when voices coming from Max's office caught my attention. The room had silent proofed walls but I could hear since the door was slightly open. Being nosy, I walked over and listened.

"Mom, we have to get rid of the bitch." Max angered voice boomed. "I cant do this fucking lame shit anymore. Why dont we just end her life?" Who are they trying to get rid of. Oh how I wanted that anger was directed to this particular sister of mine.

"Listen figlio, she's no good for us dead." Adelina, his mother's calm voice said. "We need to make her suffer just like your sister until she yearns for death. Killing her will just be an easy death for her. No suffering. She needs to face a slow painful death. Do you understand?" I got puzzled.

"Madre, do you know how it feels to sleep next to your enemy every night resisting the urge to pull a trigger or plunge a knife into her heart?" Max was getting irritated. I could tell by the tone of his voice.

"I understand but if we carry out all stages we will have a successful revenge figlio." Again his mother tried to put some sense into him with a pleading voice. It felt like they were discussing Katerina. "We have a year to lavish her with love and treating her like a queen. Then after that we make her have the taste of her own medicine."

"A year!" Max voice made me shake. How come his mother was so calm in there. "Thats too much madre."

"Okay six months then." She negotiated.

"Fine. But what about her sisters, Nic and Am?" It clicked making a smile grace my beautiful face. That was a really good sign. I was very excited.

"I have no grudge with those two. My focus is on that cagna Katerina........"

"What the hell are you doing Amy?" That was Nic and I immediately shooshed her covering her mouth with my hand. "Mmm." She struggled but then listened when my name was mentioned.

"The research about them states that Amelia hates Katerina." His mother said.

"Yes it does but then recently she's beginning to show some care."

"And Nicole?"

"I'm not sure about her. But since she was also her victim, im pretty sure she holds some resentment towards her."

"It would have been much better if those two could stand with us since they are her pillars. It will completely cripple her." Just then Nicky budged in after she finally got a chance to get out of my hands. It was too late to stop her.

"You two are conspiring against my sister?" She asked and the duo looked like deers caught by light. Max immediately recovered   though. He walked towards the door and locked it. He started to stalk us like prey.

"So what?" His voice was menacing.

"Ummm..." Nicky's words got stuck on her throat. Max was no ordinary man. He was a Mafia King who could  make you disappear without blinking so Nicky's fear was justified.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that you guys hate that Katerina." I gathered some courage grinning like cheshire cat. They looked at each other puzzled. I explained myself. "I hate that woman to the core. She made my high school life suck." I said through gritted teeth while reliving some of the humiliation I faced because of her. The laughter, the names, the bullying. I went through a lot I couldn't contain it. "She made my life A LIVING HELL!" I screamed with anger. Luckly the office was silent proofed and this time the door was closed.

" But why the change of heart if you hate her so much." Adeline asked curiously.

"Because I discover that the only way to destroy her is being close to her. She wont see it coming." I told her. "And also she married a rich man who could possibly make my medical dreams a reality."

"That's really clever for a sixteen year old." Max commented and we all turned to Nicky. "And you?" He asked Nicky who remained silent. I was ready to pull my hair out with irritation.

"Pleas dont tell me you're on her side." Adeline said with a warning tone. Silence again.

"For the love of God, Nicky That woman took your dream life away from you. You deserve justice. Say something." My patience was running out. Silence. "NICOLE!" I screamed.

"Amy, I can hear you. Gosh you're so loud." She clasped her ears.

"Are you in or out?" Max was growing impatient just like me. Silence again. I groaned.

"I HATE HER!" Finally the words, I have been waiting for years graced her lips. I grinned. "She made me sleep with an old man and also drag me into prostitution." She cried. "I hate her for everything and I want her to suffer my pain." She gritted her teeth.

"Very well then." Max took a sear and began to tell us the plan which I believed was far much better than mine. I was very excited for this. Finally Katerina was going to pay for her bad deeds.

"We will do this on one condition though." I was thinking why not hit two birds with one stone. Max motioned me to continue. "I want to pursue my medical dreams without any financial problems, a house to stay and a car. I promise I will pay back your money as soon as I am stable." I waited for their response but Nicky chirped in.

"I also want the same thing and open my own saloon instead of medical dreams." She said in addition.

"That's all?" Max asked. We nodded.

"Consider it done." His mother said sealing the deal. Thank God our future now had a light at the end of the tunnel. I smiled but suddenly my lips turned into a thin line after remembering she has been waiting for us. I informed Max and his mother.

" I think we should go now before she gets suspicious."

"You may leave." Max excused us. I opened the door only to meet Katerina.
