Dad's reaction last night made my heart jump with immense joy. It was crystal that he loved me more than her. It was only a matter of time she reveals her true colors instead of that ugly fake smile she always carries around.

Pushing the matter aside, I took a quick shower to get ready for school. I decided on a purple short plaid skirt paired it with a white crop top tee and some sneakers. I had my hair loose and funk with my make up on point as always.

I happily skipped downstairs for breakfast. Dad was the only one on the breakfast table.

"Good morning, dad." I cheerfully greeted him while taking my seat next to him.
"Morning Pumpkin." He said raising his head to look at me probably trying to find the girl that cried on his chest blubbering lies about her step mother last night. "You sound so cheerful today after everything that happened last night?"

"I'm okay dad. Nothing happened besides I'm your strong daughter. You raised me to be a strong girl unless of course you doubt your parenting skills." I humored.

"Okay. I'm happy that you're putting everything I taught you in practice." He smiled making me reciprocate it. "You, going to school?"

"Yes. I am." I told him as one of the maids finished setting my breakfast in a plate.

Two sets of feet could be heard heading towards us and soon after Ashie and Massie showed up. Ashie rushed into dad's lap to wish him good morning while Massie sat on the chair.

"Good morning, Pady." He said using his nickname for dad which was derived from Padre. I rolled my eyes. I never liked that name.

"Morning little man."

Everyone began to focus on their food while I wondered where she was. Ah speak of the devil. She walked in looking pale and weak. Dad watched her every movement like hawk ready to kill its prey. Clearly he was still furious.

"Good morning, mother." That was Massie completely oblivious to the intense atmosphere.

"Good morning Massimo." She replied. Even her voice sounded like she cried all night. It was so hoarse. I smirked unnoticed though. My plan was a success.

"You look pale, mother. Are you okay?" Massie asked with a concerned look. Dad gave Kate death warning glares.

"I'm pretty sick but its nothing I can't handle." She replied with a smile that isn't bright like other days.

"So are you able to take us to school today?" Massie asked again. Before Kate can reply, dad beat her to it.

"Alfonso is taking you guys to school from now onwards."

"Alfonso is no fun Dad. Mommy is fun." Ashie chirped in with her signature pout that always melts dad.

"Alfonso will be taking you to school. Period." Dad said sternly leaving no room for argument. It was quite a surprise. Could it be because of last night? If it is, I am a good plan executor. Oh my gosh. I couldn't wait to share the results with my friends.

Alfonso took us to school as dad instructed. Poor Massie and Ashie had gloomy faces all the way to school.

Arriving at school, I rushed over to my friends, Jade and Gia. We did our signature handshake and walked into the hallway talking about random staff.

"Lets head to mathematics, ladies." Jade informed making me groan. I hated the subject because I felt like I was repeating same things over and over I again. I also felt like I was a mathematician in my previous life.
