No matter who or what you judge, there is always that little piece of doubt. Are you right? Or are you misguided? A question often hard to answer. It isn't too different for Y/N it wouldn't be the first time a case comes back to him or is only put Infront of the supreme court, to clear a false verdict. And thus Y/N is often left with a bitter after taste, if his decision was the right one. But then there is even different cases, cases were Y/N is certain the culprit is sitting Infront of him, but they are lacking clear evidence to convict the culprit.

..............................

Y/N was sitting in his office reading over the general information he had been given before the trial. A murder, the victim was an a man 51 years old, the head of the Rosura family. Two shots were fired one in his shoulder and the other right in his chest. Only remaining family Nabia Rosura at the age of 18, what a tragedy a young woman and the only family left were her two butlers. Y/N's clock strikes 12 o'clock time for the trial. The suspected culprit, a younger man at the age of 34 only 7 years younger then Y/N. Wherever he went inside the Saikō-Saibansho people went silent, everyone had high respect for him and no one dared to be escorted outside by security if they were to come to close. Even when Y/N was surrounded by people he still wasn't a part of them. Y/N entered the court room.

"I hereby introduced to you, the chief justice of Japan the Iudex: Y/N Neuvillette!" One of the prosecutors announced

Two prosecutors, and one attorney in defense of the defendant. The civilian jury, which is meant to overview the trial started to whisper among them. As Y/N sits down he strikes his cane to the ground.

"Order! I hereby officially open the trial in the case of the murder of Karasu Rosura. In suspicion of being the murderer the 34 year old Maruseru Ushikai. If the prosecution could begin." Y/N started

"Of course Mister Neuvillette. Mister Ushikai stands accused of murdering Mister Rosura shortly before the banquet that was supposed to start at 3 O'clock in the afternoon five days ago. Guests of the banquet described a sound of two gunshots and the only person who was quick enough at the crime scene to take a glimpse of Mister Ushikai fleeing was Miss Nabia Rosura the daughter of Mister Rosura who was close by. The police couldn't find any evidence at the scene of the crime it was as described like:'No one was even there'." The prosecution stated

"I see." Y/N says

"I still cannot believe the daughter of my best friend would acuse me of a crime as bad as this. But I guess she is just distressed and tries to find a scapegoat." Mister Ushikai uttered

"Who is right or wrong, this is what we want to find out today." Y/N told the man

Y/N pressed a button at his seat and spoke into the microphone.

"Wriothesley, if you would bring in the first witness." Y/N says

Wriothesley the head of the wardens a big well build man, who specialized in confinement and hunting of ability users. While Wriothesleys ability itself 'the duke of meropide' wasn't something too mayor, enabling him to store items up to a mass of twice his body mass in a sub space, he made up for it in the gadgets he carried in said space. After Y/N's request it was mere seconds until the first witness entered followed by Wriothesley. He accompanied her to the witness stand then moves past her delivering a small note to Y/N.

'I got a new tea from South America, why don't you join me in tasting after the trial?'

Y/N looked at Wriothesley with a slight smile and gave a nod. But after that immediately continued with the trial. Infront of him now sat Nabia Rosura the most important witness in this case... The only one who really witnessed anything mayor.
