Beautiful Soul,
You love your parents, don't you.
But
Your father shouted at you for not bringing a good grade or those excellent marks in your test,
Your mother consoled you and tried to make you understand that it's okay, these are just numbers and it's not the main exam, you can do it,
You feel like //all your life is a lie the time that you devoted to your studies by attending your classes, giving regular tests, scoring not so good but not so bad marks, graduating from a subject that is considered vain by your family, the society, even your own teachers, the struggle to decide your own subject to study and the struggle to make your choice of your favourite college after a heated argument with your parents especially your father, going to first day of college after fighting on a senseless thing with your mom because she just didn't like the formal jeans and top that you wore, then on top of it being cyber bullied and indirectly bullied by your classmates and teachers, losing merit in the exam by failing in your trusted subject because the invigilator took your answersheet and helped others copy from it making you the bad guy infront of all, and even after attaining the merit list at last, you're still considered a waste, a pathetic piece of garbage by your family because everyone else has cleared some competitive exams and gained the top most college as per the parents' wish, while everyone's celebrating the festivals and life together, you're sitting at one corner of your bed, reading a paperback or an online free book, trying to hold onto your tears that are stuck inside your eyes preventing yourself from crying, thinking of all the positive affirmations that Life will be good, it's all going to be okay, it's all going to be fine and tearing up inside with every breath you take, waiting for someone, anyone, your mom, your dad, to hold onto you and lend you a shoulder to cry and a big hug where all the warmth resides, where your parents' understand you, accept you for who you're, an average girl who doesn't like the luxury of monetary things but loves the nature, the petrichor and the smell of books and tea and coffee and the way a music or a song can make you watch the whole movie just because you loved the melody//
But hey,
You listen to me,
I'm here for you, right within you, next to you in the unknown, you can see me, just see yourself in the mirror,
And now you better listen to me,
I accept you for who you are,
I love you for who you are,
I understand you for who you are,
I respect you for who you are,
It's okay if you're the average dumb girl as per everyone,
It's okay if you're not like your cool intelligent siblings,
It's okay if you're not like your brilliant parents,
It's okay if you're not like the students in your class,
It's okay if you're not like your friends,
It's okay if you're not like them,
It's okay if you're not like some set standards of society,
What matters is that
You're You,
You're Yourself,
You're Imperfectly Perfect,
And the cherry on the cake is,
That you can feel, you can be numb, you can hate yourself but you can never hate the world and the people who hurt, who hurt you like hell but you still love them...
It's okay,
I accept you,
I love you,
I understand you,
I respect you,
I know you,
And
I love you...Take care♡
