Rescuing You

Chapter 2

"Everyone else is already waiting by the rental car. Hurry up and get your suitcase Barry." Said Danny impatiently. They had been standing here for 20 minuets so far, Danny's bag was the first one out, but Barry's has yet to be seen.

"Calm down Danny. Look, here comes my bag now." Barry reached out and grabbed his bag and followed Danny out to where the rest of the group was.

The two found the rest of the Grumps standing around a car, and Ross talking to Arin.

"I'm saying that the car holds five people and we have six, we all cant fit. Why didn't you get a different car?" Barry and Danny looked at each other and just shrugged. Deciding it would be better to ignore the conversation than to get involved. So the two pulled their suitcases to the back of the car and loaded them into the trunk.

"The rental place is slammed this weekend. This is all I could get. If you have a problem with it, we could always leave you here to walk."

Ross gaped at Arin, while Arin laughed at his reaction.

"That means someone is going to be sharing a seatbelt. That last ones to touch their nose has to sit together. One, two, three, GO!!" Yelled Suzy. Everyone quickly touched their noses. Barry and Danny came back to the front of the car to see everyone touching their nose.

"Why are they all touching their noses?" Barry asked, confused.

"I don't know. I'm more concerned about the fact that they are all smiling at us." Danny whispered back to Barry.

Ross took his finger off his nose and looked at the two.

"We don't have enough space in the car, so you two now have to share a seat."

Danny looked at Ross wide eyed. "What?! Why don't you and Holly sit together?"

"Because that's the rules now get in the car." Ross and Holly climbed into their spots in the back seat while Arin got in the drivers seat and Suzy in the passenger seat.

"I still don't like this." Said Danny, waiting for Barry to climb into the car.

"You think I like this? Just shut up and get in the car." Danny sighed and climbed in after Barry. It was a tight fit but Danny and Barry were able to make it work. Holly looked over at the two uncomfortable Grumps and laughed.

"Barry looks like he is practically sitting on your lap Danny." Everyone turned to look at them and what they saw caused them to laugh along with her. Barry's cheeks turned a bright pink while Danny just groaned and begged Arin to start driving.

Arin gave one last chuckle, while Suzy took a photo.

"This one would look great right along side the other one I took."

Barry and Danny looked at Suzy with confused looks.

"What do you mean, 'other one'?" Asked Barry cautiously.

"You haven't checked your Twitter yet, have you?" Ross asked from the other side of Holly.

"No, should I be worried?" Danny asked.

"Just see for yourself."

Barry quickly whipped out his phone and pulled up the Twitter app. He scrolled through his feed until he came across a tweet that Suzy had made. It was a picture of Barry and Danny on the plane, and Barry's head was resting on Danny's shoulder. The picture didn't bother him, it was the caption. That little caption that said: 'Looks there IS someone who can contain DannySexBang.' Barry's face lit up at what Suzy was suggesting.

"SUZY!?!? WHY!?!?" Barry yelled, he passed his phone to Danny, who quickly looked over the tweet before showing the same flustered face as Barry.

"It was cute!" Suzy defended.

Barry blushed harder and tried to look anywhere but at Danny. He has to admit, his bisexual mind had him visioning what it would be like to be with Danny. He also couldn't help developing a small crush on him. Who wouldn't? He's tall, funny, sexy, caring, sweet, and an all around great guy. But Barry refuses to admit his feelings out loud. Not only would the Grumps pressure him into telling Danny, but Danny is 100% straight, and Barry doesn't want to deal with the rejection.

"Okay, we still have another 30 minutes to drive, but I am starving. So make a decision on where we are eating, and fast. Mc Donald's or Chick-fil-a?" Asked Arin from the front seat.

"Chick-fil-a sounds good." Said Holly.

"Yeah Chick-fil-a is better than Mc Donald's any day, well except Sunday. Because that's when it's closed.."

"Shut up Ross. Just go to Chick-fil-a Arin." Danny said, cutting off Ross's ramblings.

Arin pulled into a parking spot and everyone exited the car.

"Oh glorious day! I have never been so happy to have elbow room!" Yelled Danny, practically falling out of the car.

"Oh please you guys did fine. And I'm pretty sure you loved it Danny, with Barry sitting on your lap and all." Joked Ross.

Danny rolled his eyes and led the way to the entrance.

"Whatever, you're just jealous that it was Barry and not you." Danny quipped.

Everyone 'oooo'ed at Danny's comment as they walked up to the front counter.

Everyone ordered, and they all took a seat at a table.

"I think you and Barry would make such a cute couple. I mean, you guys already act like one." Suzy said, taking a bite of her chicken salad.

Danny quickly shook his head and made a disgusted face.

"Ew, no. I mean he's Barry. My roommate, one of my closest friends, why would I date him? I mean gay, bisexual, and all that stuff is perfectly fine. But me? Nah, I stick to the ladies. Even if I was into guys why would it be Barry? I don't want to ruin our friendship or Game Grumps if we ended the relationship or something." Danny said.

Everyone nodded at Danny's reasoning.

But no one seemed to notice how Barry had stopped eating and started looking out the window with a deep frown on his face.

No one except.......
