chapter 3 - lost and confused

Vicky's pov
  After that nightmare ,I wasn't my self anymore ,I was lost confused and scared.what is going to happen to my friends,was that a vision.
I prayed about it ,but I didn't tell the girls.so I went to the pastor for help.i opened the church door and saw pastor Benjamin praying,so I waited until he was done .
" Oh my daughter,come sit down, what can I help you with".
" Pastor". I hesitated a bit.
" Is something wrong, Vicky?".
" Yes everything is wrong,I said and began to cry.
I explained my dream to the pastor,and he just listened attentively.
  " Would you love to pray about that".
"I have already prayed pastor Benjamin,but nothing is happening,I lost my family,I don't want to lose my friends too because of me ,this is all my fault".
" Listen to me Vicky,do you know that God never sleeps,do you know that sometimes,in your life you feel like nothing is happening "
'yes'.
"But  my dear that's when God is working ".
"Am sure he let's things happen in our lives for reason , I lost my wife to you know,but I never stop praising God , showing his great love to people, encouraging them,God is not dead his alive and working in our lives,or we need is a little bit of faith and patience am sure will be able to see the miracles ".
" Vicky,this is not your fault, don't you ever listen to those demonic words , that will confused you and you would be lost again.you are not alone in this battle ,we your brothers and sisters are all in this together ".
" Thank you so much pastor, I sniffed ".
" Don't thank me thank God and always love and trust him he will get you through this ".
" Yes I believe so ".
"Okay let's pray ".
  "DEAR FATHER "
You are an amazing God ,an awesome God ,may your name be glorified.for your love for us is deeper than the ocean,that made you sacrifice your own son to die for our sins . glory to be your name .
Dear father your child is going through troubles and trails I ask if you can please help her guide her into your light so she does not lose her way ,and I cast away every kind of evil spirit away in Jesus name,for I believe the is power in Your name,and please I ask if you can protect her and her friends from harm and to protect this chruch and the believers in it in Jesus name AMEN 🙏.
"Amen".
" I feel much better,thanks pastor".
" Sure thing i believe God will be by your side always never lose hope".
Then we saw the door open,and it was,it was I was lost In thoughts , it's the pastor son.
" Good timing son ".
" Father,and you must be Vicky right ".
" Yes and you are Nate Willam's".
" I have seen you Many times here at church,but I never really knew your name,an less at school " Nate said.
" Yeah , that's true ".
" Yeah".
Then pastor Benjamin coughed, sorry for the disturbing your conversation but , it's late now go escort Vicky to her dorms ,the school and here is quiet far.
"Of course I will drop her off, father don't you worry. ".
" Thank you pastor for the encouragement,I will be off now".
 
" Sure ,my daughter go believing".
" AMEN ".
" Alright, let's go Nate said".
We got into the car and drove off ,until we reached school.
" Alright,we are here ,I better go to , good night ".
  " Wait,Nate I said has I stopped him by the hand so he wouldn't drive off yet.
" What is it ?".
" Your father mentioned, about your mother's death ,but he didn't mention what happened,so I was curious to know, that's if you want to talk about it".
" I don't want to talk about it ,it doesn't concern you".
" Okay, it's okay good night".
I dropped from the car and headed towards my dorm ,and Nate left to, now I felt bad for asking that question.

Deborah's pov
" Mi-lan come quick".
" What is it am trying to study".
" Check it out our girl , just came out from Nate's car".
" For real".
" Look".
Then Vicky came in the room .
" Girl you got to tell us where you went ,you just disappeared and reappeared in Nate's car", Deborah said.
"Nothing happened, don't think stupid things,I just went to see the pastor,then Nate came and his father said he drops me off.
" Are you telling the truth?".
" Yes I am ".
" Why did you go see the pastor is something wrong?"Mi-lan asked.
" Yes they is ". And I explained my dream and they were scared.
" I understand if u don't want to be my friends".
"Silly girl, even if we are scared ,we are not letting you go ,you are our best friend remember,we made a promise to each other remember,of never separating ", Mi-lan said with a proud face .
" Mi-lan is right,am really scared,but we can't live you alone no way we are in this together ".
" But you guys ".
" No buts ".
" Let's pray about it ,am sure God will protect us".
After we prayed ,we ate,studied then slept, prepared for the tests tomorrow, just hoping all goes well.
