Chapter 12: The Pets Strike Back

The pets from their area were disguised as secret agents, taking their position at the Paradise Mall, trying to capture Dr. Octavius Brine. "We're in position," said Max. "I hope we capture the master criminal in time." "I hope so, Max," said Gidget. "I really hope so." Max and Gidget started to work together while trying to capture the master criminal at once. They were looking forward to tricking him into seeing them. Meanwhile, Buddy and Mel were working on getting their superpowers while disguised as secret agents.

"Time for our A-Game!" said Max as he and his friends started getting everything ready for the mission. "Snowball, ready the jet. I'm initiating Pet Agency Protocol Omega." So, Snowball started getting the jet ready as soon as the other pets discovered Dr. Octavius Brine's submarine at the docks of New York City. "Max, the jet is ready!" said Snowball, then a 12-year-old Molly got the pets ready for the mission to capture the master criminal as soon as they spotted Dave's submarine. Then, Buddy said, "I hope we can make this mission get no confusion or delays while we are in position." "That should take care of the mission we have been preparing," added Chloe. "It's bound to take us to the next level of fighting crime on a global scale."

Tiberius was looking for his ally, Gidget, who fell in love with Max at once. He saw them cuddling up, and he said, "What is with you, Gidget?" "Oh, sorry, Tiberius," said Gidget, "I was cuddling up with my boyfriend, Max, because we are so in love with each other." "Well, that makes sense," said Tiberius. "I didn't know you and Max belong together as a sweet couple." Max and Gidget blushed at the moment they heard Tiberius calling them a sweet couple.

Molly took the pilot's seat inside the jet while the pets took their seats in there. And she said, "Pilot to co-pilot! Ready for another mission from the North Wind!" Snowball became the co-pilot of the pets' jet that was being piloted by Molly. And Snowball said, "Alright, we're ready for the mission! Take flight!" So, the jet took off for Dave's submarine, and the pets were getting on with the mission as well. The jet flew up in the air and was reaching the submarine again.

"Mel, what's our trajectory?" asked Buddy. "95% certain this mission will end massive," replied Mel. "And the other 5%?" Buddy wanted to know. "The pets' jet is doing its best to take flight," said Mel. Meanwhile, Chloe was chasing the laser that was automatically shining inside the plane. She said, "It looks like the laser needs to be caught by my paws." And Duke told him, "You know it." Chloe chuckled. "That's the phrase I like to hear."

Meanwhile, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were flying in the Time Force jet, trying to keep track of Dave's submarine at once. "Any sign of Dave?" asked Sherman. "No, Sherman," replied Margo. "We haven't found the villain we have to capture just yet. We're still looking, though." "We have to wait and see if Dave is in reach," said Sherman. "Hopefully, we would find the secret entrance to Dave's submarine so we can get a good shot at taking down Dave," Antonio chipped in. "Who knows?" Penny remarked. "I hear that Dave has been capturing the children while on his rampaging insanity." After the Time Force made their way towards Dave's submarine, the North Wind was able to get there, too. And yes, they did so...easily!

Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private managed to fly up to the North Wind's jet using their jetpacks and they were finally ready for the mission. Elsa and Anna went up to the submarine alongside Mr. Peabody, thus trying to think of a powerful weapon to use for getting the mutants back to normal humans. They combined their special powers with the elements of ice and fire to create the element of chrysalis, a new element that would be really useful. "This element," Mr. Peabody said, "is chrysalis. Its main purpose is to restore mutants back to normal without Dr. Octavius Brine even knowing it." "This would be really useful," replied Elsa, who was delighted to create the element with her sister. "And it may come in handy, too," added Anna. Elsa and Anna blushed in a deep shade of red, and Mr. Peabody smiled.
