Chapter 20: The Final Battle, Part 2

"Do you know what?" asked Sherman. "What?" grunted Classified. "Do you know what?" "Silly," said Classified. "Of course I don't know what, if you don't tell me what 'what' is, Sherman." "Mr. Peabody says that the mission to defeating Dave and his octopuses is too heavy for us," said Sherman. "He's getting Miss Elsa and Miss Anna to help us." "Rubbish!" said Corporal. "Any agents can do it. If you worked more and chattered less, this mission would be a sweeter, a better, and a happier mission." Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny went off to fetch some spy gadgets.

When Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny got to the apartment, they found Mr. Peabody, who was working on lab experiments with the Medusa Serum and a few dead bodies in his apartment's laboratory. They saw that he was working in his secret lab in the apartment and then he heard footsteps approaching him. The Time Force members had arrived at Mr. Peabody's secret laboratory right away. They had no idea that Mr. Peabody was working on making monsters out of dead bodies in the secret lab. "Hello, agents," said Mr. Peabody. "You look tired." "Yes, Mr. Peabody, we are," said Sherman. "I don't know if the four of us are standing on our legs or on our feet." "You look the right way up to me," laughed Mr. Peabody. "Cheer up. Elsa and Anna are bigger than you and can probably manage the work alone. Would you four like to help do some lab experiments? Edith and Agnes will help, too." "Oh, yes, Mr. Peabody. Thank you, Mr. Peabody." Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were delighted to help out with lab experiments.

Elsa and Anna arrived. "Glad to see you both," said Mr. Peabody. "Thank you," said Elsa and Anna. "We're delighted to be here with the work we can manage." Mr. Peabody was delighted to hear that being said by the Arendelle guardians. "Good, that shall be good for us to remember," said Mr. Peabody. "Agents, show Elsa and Anna around." So, the Time Force members did, and soon, they were very busy, as were the Arendelle guardians.

Not long before Elsa and Anna worked on the spy gadgets in the Time Force Headquarters command center, Elsa and Anna worked on the blueprints of each spy gadget loaded into the spy vending machine. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were looking forward to using the new spy gadgets after learning how they work following the blueprints. The Time Force had no idea that they would be waiting to use the spy gadgets for their top-secret mission to defeating Dave.

Later, Elsa and Anna were sketching out the blueprints on how the spy gadgets work. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny enjoyed listening to them explaining how the spy gadgets work. "The spy slingshot," said Sherman. "How does this gadget work, Miss Elsa and Miss Anna? And don't fire any details." Elsa got out a blueprint and she said, "Let me explain how it works. It looks like an ordinary slingshot, like you might use for hitting the target. But, if you need to hit three or more bad guys, the slingshot will fire the stone towards your target. Then, the stone explodes, and a net traps the naughty spy enemies." "You know," said Sherman. "These slingshots may come in handy since they can trap three or more bad guys." And he got the spy slingshot out of the spy vending machine with a push of a button and right into his pocket.

As soon as the Time Force members were equipped with spy gadgets, they were ready to take down Dave and his octopuses just in time. And thus, they were looking forward to using them with caution. Creeping into the submarine, they found Dave the octopus and his octopus minions on a siding with the missing snow globes on display. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny went boldly alongside the way to get to Dave. When they got there, they found him and his minions working on a new Medusa Serum ray gun so they would get on with the mission.

They walked as carefully as they could as to not disturb Dave or his minions without hesitation. Just then, Dave approached the Time Force members and laughed evilly. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were furious! Sherman used his spy slingshot on the five octopuses, firing the stone from it. The stone was launched out of the spy slingshot, and the five octopuses were trying to capture it. But it was too late, and the stone exploded, trapping the five octopuses inside the net that shot out of nowhere. Classified, Short Fuse, Corporal, and Eva watched Elsa and Anna quietly doing their work. "They seem simple sort of humans." "We'll have some fun and order them about."

Just then, Elsa and Anna took no notice till too late that the North Wind blew smoke from their limbs. The Time Force was cross, but the Arendelle guardians took no notice at all. "They'll get tired of it, soon. Do they tell you to do things, agents?" "Yes, they do," answered Sherman. "Right," said Anna. "We'll soon stop that nonsense." She whispered something. "We'll do it later."

After the Time Force members went away, Elsa and Anna were left to manage alone. They did so...easily! Back at Mr. Peabody's penthouse, the Time Force members returned with their secret items that they needed to work on lab experiments with Mr. Peabody. And it wasn't too long before Edith and Agnes showed up and were getting their scientist equipment on. At last, the Time Force members and Margo's younger sisters were ready for lab experiments in Mr. Peabody's secret lab. "Now then," said Mr. Peabody. "I need a test subject." Sherman and Penny brought in a human corpse and they were trying extra hard to be careful with it. Then they were waiting for a splash of the Medusa Serum to be dropped upon the corpse as patiently as they could.

Suddenly, the corpse faced the needle and wasn't awakened by a pinprick that was put into its arm. Then, Sherman said, "I hope this wouldn't take too long to get this corpse turned into something unusual." "I hope so, too, Sherman," replied Penny. "This won't take as long as expected, but whatever we do, we have to take extra precautions while trying to do some lab experiments." "Genius!" said Mr. Peabody. "Pure genius!" Just then, the Medusa Serum went into the corpse and turned it into a secret weapon: a monster. "Ahahahahahaha!" laughed Mr. Peabody. "I've done it! It's alive! It's alive! I've brought it back from the dead!" Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were surprised to see the monster being made from the corpse. Then, they were delighted that the lab experiments were being made in progress. Edith and Agnes examined the secret weapon carefully. They were very embarrassed about this, but Margo didn't mind. The Time Force had no idea that they were doing lab experiments without hesitation as well as without any confusion or delay. They felt delighted to do lab experiments.

"Hey, it looks like we got our secret weapon," said Penny. "I totally agree with Penny," said Antonio. "Thanks, sweetheart," Margo said to her boyfriend. Antonio was blushing in a deep shade of red, and his heart was pounding a lot after hearing Margo saying that word. Then Sherman said, "Looks like the secret weapon has been made." Margo chuckled. "The secret weapon," she said, "is the phrase."

It was long into the evening when the lab experiments were completed right on time. "The secret weapons have been made," said Mr. Peabody. "Nothing is as beautiful as a secret weapon being put together into perfect timing. Why can't secret weapons be simple?" "Because, the secret weapon is the key to saving the world, Mr. Peabody," replied Margo. "Believe me, I tried to build one, but it didn't work out as planned." Sherman and Penny were very embarrassed, and Antonio didn't hesitate to speak up a little. "I think this secret weapon would definitely be really useful if we can get a good shot at defeating Dave just in time." And he was right. The secret weapon would definitely be really useful for defeating Dave and his octopuses.

Edith and Agnes were cross, but Margo took no notice. "Those secret weapons would get tired of it soon," said Edith. "Do they get stronger than Antonio would?" "Nope," said Margo. "Antonio is the only member of my team who is the muscle." "Right," said Agnes. "We'll soon get the secret weapon unleashed." Meanwhile, Antonio was having doubts about the secret weapon being unleashed. "I hope the secret weapon doesn't cause a lot of confusion and delay. It's bound that it would aid us into defeating Dave and his army of octopuses just in time." And he was right. The Time Force took no notice and started off to the Time Force Headquarters as soon as they were ready.

Later, that evening, the Time Force members were back in the Headquarters, trying to send off the secret weapon into action. They were looking forward to defeating Dave just in time. Just then, they were getting a good shot at defeating Dave just in time during the final battle. "Penny, what's our trajectory?" asked Margo. "95% certain we're still doomed, Margo," said Penny. "And the other 5%?" asked Sherman. "Adventuring glory like no humans have ever seen before!" said Penny. "I'll take that action!" said Antonio. And the Time Force was ready.
