Chapter 17: Darkness on the Docks

By that evening, the Time Force members were talking about what they were hearing from Dave. "Well," said Antonio. "I, for one, will be disappointed if we don't finish this mission." "So will I," agreed Penny, "even though we are not just giving up on this mission." "Especially with Margo," chuckled Sherman. "Not just with me," corrected Margo. "Agent Classified usually has a good reason to get cross. One way or another, we should've left this mission to the professionals." "Oh, maybe that's why he darted us," said Sherman. "Because of us." "But we can't just let him dart us onto our butts," said Antonio. "We have to convince the North Wind to join us." "Yes. This would prevent us from getting shivers sent down our butts," agreed Penny.

So, the next morning, the Time Force members set off to find the North Wind members inside Dave's submarine, trying to see what they would find. What they saw was the lift that would take them down to the control room of the submarine, where the North Wind members were waiting to see them. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny raced their way towards the lift of the submarine as fast as their legs would carry them. When they got there, Margo pressed the button.

The lift took the Time Force members down and they reached Dave's control room. Just as they were not giving up on the mission, they reached the North Wind members (who were captured by Dave and his octopuses). Classified, Short Fuse, Corporal, and Eva were dangling over a pool of piranhas, and Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were worried about that. They had no idea on what to do to rescue the North Wind from Dave's ropes hanging way up high.

So, Margo and Antonio had to control the temperature on the piranha pool by making it frozen, and Sherman and Penny had to pull the lever to get the North Wind down from dangling over the piranha pool. At last, the North Wind was rescued by the Time Force. "Oh, thank you!" said Classified. "What would I have done without you?" "Well, we had to freeze the piranha pool before we could rescue you," said Sherman. "But I never thought it would be by the four of us when we found you four in Dave's submarine." "Nicely done," said Corporal. "We're free at last, and we will join the four of you on the rest of this mission," replied Eva. "We'll work together. A way to defeating Dave will always be provided."

The Time Force members and the North Wind members came together to join forces for the top-secret mission to saving the world. Then, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny had to get on with their mission right away while Classified, Short Fuse, Corporal, and Eva had to put together their power of four.

As soon as the Time Force and the North Wind combined their strength in unity, they were finally ready to take down Dave the Octopus and his octopus minions. Just then, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny huddled up in a team huddle as quick as bunnies while the North Wind got on with their A-game.

During the team huddle, the Time Force members had to get on with the discussion. "Alright, guys, this is it," said Margo. "The mission we've been preparing for our entire lives. We're going to take down Dave or die trying." "What do you think we should do, Margo?" asked Sherman. "I think we need to activate the chrysalis explosion devices to restore the disfigured monsters back to normal, Sherman," replied Margo. "It takes a lot of chrysalis to get those mutants back to normal so there would be a chrysalis explosion happening." "It is designed to indicate that we are the only ones who can defeat Dave just in time," said Penny. "This would give us a critical advantage to defeating him in time." "Yes," said Antonio. "We need to stay strong so we can use the power of four to defeat Dave."

Meanwhile, the North Wind was having doubts while on their A-Game as they were trying to take down Dave. "Corporal," said Classified. "We are picking up Dave's destination," Corporal said, "which reveals that we are looking for him on this mission." "I've never been hydrated in my whole life," said Short Fuse.

The Time Force members were still huddled up with each other, discussing their final part of the plan to saving the world. "Penny, what's our trajectory?" Margo asked. "95% certain we need to finish the mission strong, Margo," said Penny. "And the other 5%?" asked Margo. "The power of four that we will unleash will be used wisely," answered Penny. "I'll take that action," chipped in Sherman. "It's up to us to defeat the villain so we can earn our badges for the Time Force." "I hope so," said Antonio. "This would give us a critical advantage if we can do this together." So, the Time Force went on to defeat Dave in time.
