Chapter 13: Testing the Secret Weapon

The next night, the Time Force worked hard to get everything on schedule again while trying to defeat Dave the Octopus. They were trying to get more chrysalis made by gathering the same ingredients to make it inside the workshop of the Time Force Headquarters. Creeping into Dave's submarine, they found the chrysalis ingredients on a siding with the uses of it. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny went boldly alongside together. Dave the octopus looked up. "What do we have here?" he said. "We are the Time Force!" said Margo. "And nobody," said Antonio. "Nobody," said Sherman. "...Breaks the force!" said Penny.

Dave laughed evilly, infuriating the Time Force members at once. "Grrrr!" Sherman growled, and drew his dynamite at the octopus. "This will blow up your evil scheme!" So, Sherman launched his dynamite at Dave, but he missed and blew up 10 octopuses with a bowling strike. While the mutated humans were invading New York City, Mr. Peabody had to get Elsa and Anna to lure them away with a trap. He insisted that they would be using cages to trap them in them.

"Elsa and Anna, I need you two to lure the mutated humans away with something useful," commanded Mr. Peabody. "Try to find something useful that would catch those freaks." So, Elsa and Anna went on to find the useful item that would capture all mutated humans at once. They were looking forward to tricking the evil octopus into seeing his evil scheme get foiled. "Elsa, we need to capture those disfigured monsters with something useful." "And what would that 'something useful' be, Anna?" Elsa wanted to know. "We must use the metal cages to capture those disfigured monsters once we get them brought in and they will be behind bars." Elsa and Anna knew that they were trying to get the metal cages to capture the mutated humans as long as they would save the world.

Just then, the Pet Agency bustled up to take their position to finding the chrysalis ingredients. "We need to find the ingredients to make the chrysalis so we can finally be ready for the explosion of chrysalis to be released," said Molly. "I'm sending you pets to find the ingredients to make the chrysalis explosion device to destroy the octopuses and THEN the world will be saved once the disfigured monsters are turned back to normal humans." Molly sent Max, Gidget, Buddy, Mel, Chloe, Tiberius, Norman, Duke, and Snowball off to find the ingredients to building an explosion device that would make the chrysalis explode so violently that the disfigured monsters will be turned back to normal humans right away.

It was late into the night when the pets found some ingredients for the chrysalis explosion device and brought them back to Molly. "Now, we must get back to the Time Force Headquarters so we can build the device that would explode so that the mutated humans would be reverted back to normal," she said. "Sounds good," said Max. "I'm in!" Gidget chimed in. And so, Molly took the pets with her to the Time Force Headquarters so that they would be ready for the chrysalis explosion device right away.

Next morning, Molly and her pack of pets went into the workshop to get the chrysalis explosion device made while the Time Force members went on to build the chrysalis ray gun to revert the disfigured monsters back to normal humans as quick as they could. They built four chrysalis ray guns to ensure they would get a critical advantage to restore the sanity of their closest ones quickly.

"We'll get everything ready to get on with the final battle in a minute," said Margo. "We have to clear everything out before we can get the chrysalis ray guns built for each of us." "It's not going to be easy building these chrysalis ray guns without the right ingredients we need to get," said Sherman. "Nothing's easy," replied Margo. "But we can do this!" The Time Force members continued building the chrysalis ray guns so that they would use them to restore their close ones back to normal as quick as bunnies.

After a while of constructing the chrysalis ray guns, Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny loaded the chrysalis into them and marched off to the Time Force jet. It wasn't too long before they were ready to save the world and use the chrysalis ray guns to restore the citizens back to normal. When they got to the Central Park of New York City, they saw the mutated versions of Edith and Agnes, attacking the trees. The mutated versions of Mason, Carl, Jill, and Abby were also attacking the Central Park and terrorizing the citizens of New York City. Margo, Antonio, Sherman, and Penny were furious! They had to think of a plan about what to do to stop the rampage. "Should we use our chrysalis ray guns?" asked Sherman. "Whatever it takes," replied Margo.
