I tried to stay calm, tried not to panic out of my mind, but it is harder than you would think. I’ve never been claustrophobic, but I’m pretty sure anyone would start to hyperventilate if they were locked in a trunk, kidnapped by the people they were trying to stay away from.

I closed my eyes, resting my head on the floor beneath me and took deep breaths, a technique they seemed to use a lot in TV shows. It didn’t really do much to calm my nerves, but at least now I wasn’t gasping.

I thought back through the past hour, trying to remember what happened. My head felt fuzzy, it was hard for me to think, but I pushed myself anyways. I remembered waiting for Jon to come back and hearing footsteps then silence. The last thing I remembered was the door opening and steam or something similar pouring in around two black clad feet.

What was the steam? As soon as it had reached me I had started to feel woozy, my eyelids drooping. I tried to stay conscious, not really aware what was going on, but knowing it wasn’t good. I had been drugged. I tried to focus on those black shoes, stepping in towards me, but my eyesight winked out, the whole world turning black, and I was left with my self-conscious.

I wondered how long I had been in the back of this car, how long those drugs had kept me under. I opened my eyes again, trying to see if there was any light streaming in through any crack, but no such luck. Either it was dark outside as well, or it was just too tightly sealed. Either way, I had no way of telling what time it was.

I lay there for a minute, wincing every now and then when my head had a burst of pain. I tried to push myself into unconsciousness, sure it was better than this when I heard the voices again.

“Where had the boss said he was taking the others?”

My eyes flew open at those words. The others? Mikhail and Jon? I strained to hear the other guys voice as he spoke, holding on to every word.

“I don’t know, he said he would bring them together. We were going to meet up with him later at the building, but he didn’t say whether or not he was going to bring them.”

I sighed in relief, glad they hadn’t decided to just kill them instead. But then a new thought came to my mind. What did they want with us? Why not just kill us? What did they do in the corporation?

What made us so special?

~Mikhail~

I groaned, my body waking up and finding bruises, aches and scratches covering my body. I couldn’t find one part of my body that wasn’t in sharp pain. I looked around me, trying to distract myself.

My arms were tied behind me, my mouth gagged. My legs the only thing I could move freely. I was lying down on a white floor, surrounded by sterile white walls. The was a single chair in the middle of the room, about 5 feet away from me.

I was pressed up against the farthest wall from the door. I pushed myself up into a sitting position, wincing as I pressed the various cuts on my body. Once I had finally managed to push myself into a somewhat comfortable position, my pants slowly dying down. I looked around once more, trying to take in every detail of the room. The door was big, had no window and only had a small round door handle. There was a vent on the ceiling, but it looked tightly sealed. The chair looked plain and sturdy, nothing special. So far there was no way I was getting out of here.

I got myself up slowly, sliding my back up against the wall until I was standing. I leaned against the wall for a moment, catching my breath before walking forwards towards the door. I turned around, blindly grasping the handle with my hands, turning slightly. The handle wouldn’t budge no matter how hard I tried. It wasn’t like I was expecting it to be just open, but it’s always worth a shot.

I sighed, frustrated and walked back into the room. I ignored the chair, walking straight past it and sliding into my old position.

I sat there for what seemed like hours, drifting in and out of consciousness. It was hard to decipher reality from my unconscious state, both worlds seeming dull and colorless.

A burst of sound woke me up, bringing me back to the white room. The door had opened, revealing a dark suited man. His face seemed shadowed and hard to make out, which didn’t make sense seeing as we were in a bright white room with no windows.

He glanced at me, giving me what looked like a sad expression as if he disapproved, then glared behind him. A middle-aged man stumbled in, pulling someone behind him. He stopped, closing the doors behind him and turning to his leader, panting slightly. I looked down at the sad shape he had brought in. A gasp flew to my lips as I realized who it was.

Jon.

I was jolted forward, rolling into a wall. I reached my hands out, trying to figure out what was going on, guessing the car had stopped. I held my breath, listening as the doors slammed and waiting in suspense for the trunk to open.

Light flooded in, blinding my eyes. I squinted up at the hooded man, raising my hand to protect my face. The man grabbed me, pulling me up into his arms as if he was cradling me, but not nearly as gentle. He murmured something over his shoulder, something intelligible. I wrapped my arms around me and tried to dim my eyesight.

My eyes finally adjusted, dimming to reveal a tall building in front of us, surround by trees. We were in the middle of nowhere, at least not anywhere I had ever seen before. It seemed like we were in a forest, except for the building protruding out of the treetops. The rectangular tower displayed few windows, and a single door. The only thing interesting to look at was a single sign hanging over the doorway. I squinted, trying to read it before I gasped.

‘The Corporation Headquarters’

Hey guys!

So new chapter, new action...kind of...I know I fail at action, but I hope this is better. It is a little cliché what with the white room and stuff but oh well, so is most action. Yeah there will be some more, probably a lot, I really have no idea whats happening or whats going to happen. Deciding as I go along so I will be as surprised as you will when I figure it out =p

So yea they are all captured by the same people, assumably all going to the same place. They arent planning to kill them obviously, got bigger plans than that..it would b a really boring book if they just died...just saying...=p

So hoped you liked it and keep reading! Vote and comment! Thanks!
