Hey, my name is Blaze. Now, you might be wondering why I have such an unusual name. Well, many years ago, my brother bestowed this nickname upon me, and it has stuck ever since. However, let's move on to more important matters.
Today marks the beginning of my college journey. Jack and I have decided to attend the same college, and he happens to be my closest confidant. We have shared countless experiences together in the past. While there are familiar faces among my fellow students, I also find myself in the company of unfamiliar ones. The college campus is abuzz with groups of students engaged in animated conversations, but Jack and I patiently wait for the arrival of our teacher, who will guide us through the college premises.
"Are you feeling excited? Today is the monumental day when we have the opportunity to reshape our identities and blend in with our peers," Jack eagerly whispered.
Puzzled, I replied, "Why would anyone want to modify their true selves? I take pride in being authentic, and I definitely won't change just to impress these individuals."
After a brief exchange of thoughts, our teacher finally arrived and led us to the grand assembly hall. Words cannot describe the sheer magnitude of this hall - it can easily accommodate a thousand people, and its aesthetics are simply breathtaking.
"Good morning, college!" bellowed the headteacher, Mr. Levi, who would soon become a prominent figure in the ensuing drama. "Are you ready to commence this new chapter and make your way to your assigned form rooms?"
The crowd erupted with enthusiasm, as the air became charged with anticipation. However, I noticed a student standing next to me, already half-asleep during the assembly.
Undeterred, the headteacher continued, "Very well! Let's proceed to your form rooms, beginning with Mr. Wilson's class - undoubtedly one of the finest teachers on campus."
"Alright, please line up in an orderly fashion when I call out your name," he instructed.
Suddenly, the sleepy student jolted awake, startled by the teacher's loud clap that echoed in their ear. The teacher paused for a moment before continuing, "Cole, Jack, Blaze?"
To my delight, Jack and I found ourselves in the same class. We exchanged smiles and Jack turned around to survey our new classmates.
"Shall we proceed?" he exclaimed, filled with anticipation.
