“YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND, ABBI!” I shouted to Abigail, her anger seeping out like toxins, piercing my skin. “YOU DON’T CALL ME THAT ANYMORE, LUCIFER, YOU MADE YOUR DAMNED CHOICE!” I was on the verge of tears.
Sighing, I relinquished. “Boss, please, can we not argue like this…?” I fell to my knees, pleading. “You’re my Sister, it can’t go on like this!” She sighed, “You know you can’t help anymore than you are…” she looked at the floor, then she looked like she had an Idea.
“Actually, I think you can… but you may not like it…” I perked up a little. “You want to help, but there’s nothing you can do up here…” she started. “Go on…” I pushed. She continued, “Hell needs a supervisor.” she said bluntly.
My heart sank to the bottom of the ocean. “Satan is growing old, even we don’t live forever.” she reasoned. “It’s not a punishment, but it’s all you can do right now.” I sighed, but I understood. “Alright.” I nodded, determined. “I’ll do my best, no matter what gets in my way.”
“Then you can start right now, Lucifer...”
