I collapsed on my bed, exhausted from the day, and fell asleep almost instantly. In my dream, there was nothing. Not odd, but this time it felt eerie. Like something was wrong, something was missing.
“Hello…?” I called out into the void. Nothing. No response. Quiet. I sat down, Taking in my surroundings. “It’s dark, quiet, empty.” I muttered to myself. “The ground feels wet, like I'm sitting in a large puddle of rain.”
I dipped my hand into the floor. It felt slimy, then there was just water. Could I swim here? I asked myself, before I was dragged under by a multitude of hands. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I struggled for a full minute until I was pulled out the other side.
I was in a harbour, reminiscent of Western Rainville. Why did my dream bring me here? I swam to the shore, pulling myself up onto the bridge as the maroon skies told me my location. Hell. “Oh great…” I muttered to myself, walking around the streets. I asked myself questions, though. “Is hell a mirror of earth?” or “What possibilities are there for jobs in hell?” the latter of which is less important to me in my current circumstances.
I noticed somebody who looked like Ty, next to somebody who looked like Mylo. It wasn’t them. Ty’s clone had yellow eyes and charred, grey, skin. Mylo’s clone had reddish, orange eyes and his skin was white. I looked around, People here had unnatural eyes. Unnatural skin. It’s like they were monochrome apart from the eyes.
Their mouths were black, inky. I felt fearful chills crawl down my spine as I tried to maintain control of my emotions. “Hey.” I whipped around and screamed at the Ty clone, before apologising.
“Sorry, I was in my head… erm…” He laughed. “Augest, behind me is Dell.” I nodded odd names… “You look… familiar.” Augest noted. “I have one of those faces, I guess… I’ve never been… here.” I muttered. “Well, a new face whom I don’t know… welcome to Shadow City.” I was confused.
“...what?” He shook his head. “You really are new here, huh…?”  He looked around. “This… this is hell’s central location…” I paused. “How big is hell, exactly?” I asked. “Unimportant, newbie.” Before I could respond, I felt like I was being pulled back to wakefulness…
My eyes opened, and it looked like it was nearing midnight. In a moment, I noticed… pressure on one of my arms, like someone was laying on it. I let out a groan, though enjoying the warmth, I didn’t know who it was. Opening my eyes, I saw the familiar jet black hair that belonged to Leuc, and I relaxed a little. Then I tensed up. Why is Leuc in my bed?! I asked myself, flustered.
I tried to move him, without waking him up, but ultimately failed as he let out a groan. “What?...” I pulled my arm out from under him, not having to worry about waking him anymore, and froze.
“What happened?!” Were the first words out of my mouth after I saw a large, scabbed over cut on his neck. “Not important…” He muttered, seeming tired. I sigh, and flip him over, facing me. “It is important, you’re hurt!” He looked surprised. He seems… Concerned… “Okay, okay… I cut my neck on a fence…” God, this is so embarrassing. I suppose he forgot our thoughts were linked.
“Well, embarrassing as it is… are you okay, at least?” He nodded. Next topic. “Okay… Why are you in my bed, exactly?” I asked, more curious than anything… I didn't mind it, really.
“I had a nightmare… Needed comfort, I guess…” He looked guilty. No reason to be guilty… I thought, sitting up. I pet his hair. “Awh… Do you wanna talk about it?” I suggested, but knew that he might not want to. “Not really…” I called it…
I decided to pull him into a hug. “Sam, What?” He asked, but I didn’t let go as he melted into the embrace. I was playing with his hair as I hummed a tune that always helped me relax. He began to.. Purr? Confused, but content, I held him in my arms.
We could be mistaken as lovers. I blushed at the thought of it and shook my head. That wouldn’t work anyways. Luckily, Leuc was sound asleep at that point, so he hadn’t heard me. I pulled out my phone to check the time.
4 AM. I decided to go back to sleep, falling asleep faster than I ever had before with Leuc in my arms…

Leuc woke me up, moving from my grasp as I let out an involuntary whine at the loss of contact, and blushed. “S-Sorry…” I muttered as I sat up, Checking the time. 2:30. “How’d we sleep so long?” I asked, already suspecting, and fearing, the answer.
Leuc shrugged. “Comfortable….” he murmured, and I wouldn’t have heard him normally… wait. “Do hellhounds share qualities with werewolves?” I asked suddenly. He looked confused, but answered. “They do, yes… why?” I chuckled.
“I used to be practically deaf, and now I can hear everything!” He looked surprised, but chuckled as well. “Right…” he murmured.

About 3 was when we finally left my room, and I had to admit something to myself… I was catching feelings for Leuc. I didn't know what to do about that, and It scared me… I've never felt romantic attraction before.
I shook it off, knowing that nothing would come of it. Feeling a little disappointed, I watched Jan attempt to catch a mouse that had scurried in from outdoors, and it cheered me up. “So…” Leuc started, sounding awkward. “I didn’t plan for anything today… what did you want to do?”
I thought for a moment, and shook my head quickly. “Er, I don’t know…” I had a ton of ideas, but those were intrusive thoughts. “Actually,” an idea came to mind… “Could you try to explain my powers? Besides shifting into a dog, I mean…” He Chuckled.
“Sure, heads up.” He suddenly shifted into a serious expression, and threw a knife at me! WHAT THE FUCK, LUCIFER?! I thought but before I knew it, I had caught it in mid air. It was floating, and a small aura was visible as I rotated my hand, the knife rotating as well.
“Ooookayyy…” I muttered. “This is weird…”  As the knife spun around in the air, I slowly got the hang of… whatever I was doing… I shot the knife downwards, into the hardwood floor.
“...Okay, But what is this, exactly?” I asked. Leuc shrugged. “I would say Telekinesis…” I blinked a few times. “Tele-ka what?” He giggled, like a little school girl and as much as I found it cute and endearing, It didn’t answer my question.
“Telekinesis… Manipulating objects in the real world with your mind.” I just looked confused. “What does that mean?” I ask. Leuc sighs. “Look it up, I don’t really know how else to explain it…” He chuckles.
I wondered… What else could I do?  I had a feeling I'd find out. A loud bang signified something… I’d find out sooner than expected.
