Deadpool and Ash: Hail to The King

Chapter X - Knight at The Museum

Ash, Deadpool, and Uni arrive at the Omniverse Facility. They barge through the doors and see Larry sitting on Ash's throne in full knight's armor.

LARRY: You know, I always thought it suited me more than you.

ASH: Where's Mia?

LARRY: Don't worry. She's safe. I promise.

Deadpool then pulls out one of his guns.

DEADPOOL: What the hell did you do?!

Ash grabs Deadpool's arm and puts it down.

LARRY: What I had to do.

Deadpool begins to tear up.

DEADPOOL: Why...?

LARRY: Because I'd get what I deserve... what I was promised... to be on top.

ASH: You were already close with the Council. What more did you want?

LARRY: Close with the council? Ash, I was a glorified janitor. Do you know what it's like to be on the bottom? To be forgotten?

ASH: Yes. That's the whole reason I'm here.

LARRY: No, you don't truly know. Everything you were taught here was a lie. Even down to the most minute detail.

ASH: That's some horseshit.

LARRY: I was promised a spot on top. To be king. I was promised that if I help destroy the omniverse... I could help rebuild it. Back when I was working at the museum, The King came to me in a vision. Just a short time later, my universe was... "forgotten". He is behind... all of it.

DEADPOOL: Even the destruction of these universes?

LARRY: Especially the destruction of those universes. The King can absorb energy from universes. Why do you think they've been dying off? It's him. It's always been him. And soon they'll be erased permanently.

ASH: The King?

LARRY: The King... discoverer of the omniverse. Creator of the Council.

ASH: Well this "King" of yours was going to betray you, I saw it in my vision!

LARRY: Your vision was wrong, The King would never kill me. We've been in on this since day one.

DEADPOOL: What the hell is he using the energy for?

LARRY: To take out the entire omniverse in one fell swoop. This one... disappointed him and he felt it was passed saving. So he vowed to create a new one from scratch, harnessing the energy from this one.

ASH: What about the prophecy? ME becoming king?

LARRY: The prophecy was made up. By me. It wasn't the original plan, but I thought making you king would make destroying the omniverse an easy effort and clearly... I was right. Come on out!

Mia walks out from another room with her hands tied. Larry is keeping her prisoner. Larry picks up Mia and holds her.

ASH: Let her go!

LARRY: Sure thing.

Larry then throws Mia out the window that looks upon the omniverse. She falls into it to an unknown location.

ASH: Mia!!

LARRY: Now... It's just the three of us.

Deadpool pulls out his swords.

DEADPOOL: It's about to be two.

Ash revs his chainsaw.

ASH: Let's get this party started.

Larry pulls out a giant sword from behind the throne and points it at Ash and Deadpool.

LARRY: Be my guest.

Deadpool and Ash leap towards Larry and try to slice him with their swords, but Larry blocks their attacks. Larry stabs Deadpool through the face, and cuts off one of his hands. He turns to face Ash, and goes to slice him across the chest, Ash dodges, and Larry just cuts through a small piece of Ash's shirt. Deadpool's face and hand regrow and he kicks Larry in the back, Larry stumbles forward and Ash uppercuts him in the face.

Larry flips around and Deadpool goes to slice his throat, but Larry ducks and Deadpool instead cuts Ash across the chest. Larry steps back, and lunges for Deadpool, he stabs Deadpool right through the chest and throws him to the ground, he turns to face Ash, who is charging at him with his chainsaw on, Larry redirects Ash's momentum and throws him into his own throne. Ash gets up and sees Deadpool about to be beheaded by Larry. He gets up, and reaches into his pocket, he throws the pizza ball right at Larry, and it distracts him for a few seconds.

Deadpool gets up and slices at Larry's hand, causing him to drop his sword. Deadpool then picks up Larry and smashes him into the ground. Larry picks up his sword and dodges an attack from Deadpool. Ash gets up on his throne, and jumps down at Larry, with his chainsaw running. He screams, and Larry dodges the attack. Ash lands on the ground, and Larry cuts off his right arm. Ash screams in pain.

Deadpool finds a crack in Larry's armor, and stabs him through it. He picks Larry up by the throat, and throws him to the ground. Larry coughs up blood, and starts laughing. As he starts to bleed out, he says his final words.

LARRY: You're too late... The omniverse is doomed...

Deadpool, in one swift motion, beheads Larry.

DEADPOOL: Never liked your movies anyway.

Deadpool helps Ash up. Deadpool cuts off part of his suit and uses it to bandage up Ash's wound.

DEADPOOL: You gonna be okay?

ASH: I just lost an arm. The arm I have my chainsaw on. Yeah, I'll be fine.

Deadpool picks up the chainsaw.

DEADPOOL: This is so fucking cool.

Him and Ash walk over to the computer where Larry usually works at.

ASH: Oh my god.

DEADPOOL: What is it?

ASH: Every universe we went to... has been marked on the map.

DEADPOOL: What the hell does that mean.

Ash turns to face Deadpool.

ASH: Marked for The King to destroy.

One by one, the marked universes disappear off the map, being wiped from existence entirely. Not even a wasteland remains.

Deadpool, Ash, and Uni run outside of the facility to look at the omniverse. They see billions and billions of multiverses crashing into each other, some being destroyed in the process. They then see one of them start to get bigger and bigger before they realize... it's heading right towards them. Right towards the Omniverse Facility.

Ash, Deadpool, and Uni stare in horror of what they're witnessing. Everything in existence slowly crumbling to pieces as they're about to be struck by one of the multiverses.

ASH: God help us all.
