Akk was somehow happy. He had finally found some reassurance in his life. He managed to made up with Ayan who even forgave him for everything he had done. And even though he Akk was still conflicted what relationship they had he had finally found someone who he could trust and let him help with his problems. The only thing they had to do was to expose the whole school and then they had nothing to worry about anymore. They could finally live their lives in peace and quiet and move on from their past and maybe explore their relationship further. It was like nothing could go wrong now and-

It was just too good to be true...

Nothing could have prepared Akk for what was going to happen to him after coming from school the same day. Every positive and hopeful feeling Akk had felt about the future was shattered in front of his eyes in seconds the moment he stepped into his apartment.

The first thing he noticed was his door was not closed. His heart stopped beating for a moment while he tried to collect himself in front of his door. But Akk could feel his breathing quickening rapidly, making him almost hyperventilate. An uncomfortable ringing in his ear blocked his hearing to his surroundings and his vision began to blur. Akk didn't know what to do. He was in a trance state in which he couldn't get out. He was trapped. Like a prisoner in his own thoughts.

Panic grew while Akk kept fearing that anyone could attack him from behind at any moment and he couldn't even defend himself. After which felt like hours the trance state finally broke and Akk slowly sat down, leaning against the wall opposite of the door, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths to calm himself down.

Akk took out his pocket knife which he always brought with him from his jacket pocket and stood alerted, waiting for a few minutes in case anyone exited his apartment and attack him. After not hearing any noises coming from his apartment Akk decided to carefully approach the door, trying not make any sound.

When he opened the door Akk was more than shocked. He could have never imagine what would be behind the door but he never expected something like this. Akk's once-orderly apartment was in ruins. Furniture laid scattered, scratched, and tossed around on the almost not visible floor. Drawers and boxes were open, like someone was desperately searching for something. Plates and glasses shattered, and his notebooks torn apart. It looked like a tornado had torn through, leaving behind a jumble of broken pieces.

Akk fell to his knees, too exhausted to stand. Tears almost welled up in his eyes as Akk was scanning his room to find something whole in the mess of broken pieces. His parents had been paying for his apartment after Akk had gotten a scholarship to Suppalo. Akk's parents weren't rich but they still had payed all the expenses for Akk.

Akk had been really grateful for his parents to let him go to Suppalo as it was far away from hometown. Now everything was destroyed. All the hard work from his parents was destroyed. Akk couldn't think straight. Thousand of thoughts were running through his mind and Akk felt like he was going to faint. He just left his apartment as it was not even closing the door behind him and his legs carried him straight to Gumpa's apartment. Akk didn't even noticed that he had arrived at his neighbour's until Gumpa opened the door.

"Hi, Akk. Is somethi-" Gumpa stopped when he saw Akk's distraught face. "Oh my god, Akk! Why are you crying? Is something wrong." Akk hadn't noticed that the tears were already streaming down his face, not seeming to stop any time soon. Akk wanted to respond but he couldn't even get a noise out of his mouth. His throat was constricted painfully.

Gumpa realised that Akk was in a shock state and not able to speak so he let him enter his apartment and helped him carefully lay down on the sofa. He then quickly left and came back with a hot cup of tea which he handed to Akk who hesitantly accepted it with shaky hands. Akk just then noticed that he was trembling uncontrollably.
