My dearest love,

They say I'm crazy, but I'm not. They're the crazy ones, and I know it. I'm sorry I haven't written to you in a week—please forgive me. I've been all over the news, and death row wasn't as bad as they make it sound. The food was mediocre, though. I've had better. But the steel straightjacket? Now that was a treat.

They should've known I like boys. One of the guards couldn't resist and brought me everything I needed. I only had to play with him three times in the jacket and once without, and then—boom. He wasn't great in bed, but he was kind of... dead by the end.

Oh, good news! I got a new hair dye—bloody red with a splash of death. The place went up in flames, and I have to say, I got a good laugh at how big the explosion was. Anyway, I'm working my way back into Sky Town.

And guess what? I picked up more weapons. My favorite is a baseball bat I call "Heartbreaker"—swings hard and leaves a lasting impression. But I've also got a new revolver, painted like a shark. I'm naming it "Shark-bait" because, well, BOOM.

Love,
Scarlett

Dear Scarlett,

You're insane. Turn yourself in—this has gone way too far. I hate that you're out there killing people for no reason. You need to stop. Seriously, this time, stay put and do your time. Don't turn yourself in only to blow up the place and escape again!

At least you're safe for now, but I hope you see the chaos you've caused. The Global Police Force is after you, and your sister has already issued a bounty. If you haven't noticed, your little rampage is plastered all over the news.

Meet me at Ground Zero in Times Square at 7 on the 23rd. We need to talk—before it's too late.

Love,
Dr. JX

My dearest love,
I can meet you there, but turning myself in is not an option. I want to be free, like you and the wind. Why do you think I need to surrender? They can't say much because they're the ones who are crazy.
You know that craziness doesn't make one sane.
Anyway, I'm about to catch the train to meet you. If this is a trap to get me back on death row, I might just blow up the city and Sky Town. I'll trust you this one time. Do you remember when the people of this world loved me, or was that a lie too? I remember sitting on the beach with you, but it feels like a distant memory now.
So, while I was in that town, a kid came up to me and asked why I kill. I told him it's because it's fun. His mother immediately told him to get away from me. Right before his end, his eyes were watering as if he saw his dreams. She wasn't happy that I helped him reach his dream, so I shot her too.
Do you think l'll ever be a mother? Or are you going to turn on me as well?
Love,
Scarlett

Dear Scarlett,

For the love of god turn yourself in, if you even believe in that stuff anymore. If you still believe in God, if you still believe in justice, if you still believe in yourself, turn yourself in.  You're so gone. You're not the girl that I once knew. Your sister was right, we should have pulled the plug on you when it all happened. She knew you were crazy and I wanted to help you out in hopes that you could be like her - one of the greatest heroes that this world and the next world would ever see. I do remember loving you and seeing the world love you, it was not a lie. You are losing yourself more and more as the days go on. I am not going to turn you in. I am going to try to save you and get my Scarlett back, the one I used to know, the one I loved, not this monster you have become. You have gone past a line of no return. You are killing women and children now and you don't even feel bad about it... no one can save you but me. I am sorry Scarlett you have to go through this.
