Author's Note: ok so hear me out, Akari became vice-captain along with Langris 16 months after joining the golden dawn. Her past will be shown as the story progresses.
17 months later(Akari is 15 yrs old)
It had been 17 months since Akari had joined the Golden Dawn. After practically 16 months of missions, extra missions and hard work, she managed to become Class 1 Senior Magic Knight and the second vice-captain of the golden dawn along with Langris.
Alecdora seemed very unhappy about the new vice captain as he had been loyal to Captain Vangeance ever since he joined yet still he had not been promoted to vice captain. It really got on his nerves.
The other members of the Golden Dawn accepted Akari after she had proved her worth in the squad by being promoted to vice captain. They understood how much their Captain trusted her and believed in her. Though they still found her dream of being Wizard Queen ridiculous.
Not to long ago had Akari discovered a dungeon and had been sent there to investigate and explore it. There she had found a scroll which was written in a strange language. Upon opening the scroll a new spell was written in Akari's grimoire which too was written in that strange language. After the mission she had gone to the wizard king to give the reports of the dungeon and requested him to read the spell. He said the spell was of spirit magic. Upon calling on the spirit, a small tiny creature with wings appeared out of Akari's grimoire, it had platinum yellow skin with golden shiny eyes along with platinum blonde hair tied in two buns and wore a little yellow dress.
It claimed to be a female, and The Light Spirit, Hikaru. She had quite a sweet personality and always respected Akari and others around her.
Present
Akari's PoV
I was peacefully doing my paperwork. I can't believe I've come so far to the point I'm a vice captain of the know-to-be best squad among all magic knights squads. But I guess it all comes with the desire of wanting to be the wizard queen. If I consider the wizard king's power compared to mine, I still have a long way to go, no doubt.
It was peaceful, my hair flowed with the wind from outside. I had opened the window of my office.It was quite until I heard a knock on my office door.
"Come in" I said knowing I certainly was very busy. I took a small glance at my mountain of paperwork. 'All I had done was take a couple of extra missions. How did I get so much paper work??' I was lost in thought before I heard a familiar voice.
"Vice captain Akari."
"Ah- Alecdora, what can I do for you?"
"The captain is asking for you."
"Oh I see, I will see to him shortly." And with that the conversation had ended. Me and Alecdora had never exactly been on good terms, especially when I became the second vice captain. I am starting to think he is a bit jealous.
'I wonder why the captain wanted to see me'
I fixed my uniform and headed into the hallway and made my way to Captain Vangeance's office. My uniform has changed slightly due to my new role as vice captain, I must say it is very fancy. As I walked, everyone I came across would greet me. I am still not used to people calling me 'vice captain Akari'.
A glow came from my grimoire, a small fairy like creature with elf ears and golden, tears like marks coming from her eyes all the way to her cheeks. My spirit ally woke up from her sleep.
