"While seeking revenge, dig two graves - one for yourself."

The sound of water softly trickles in the background, interrupted by the clatter of rusty plates and pots—a discordant rhythm reminiscent of a vulture's call. The running water suddenly stops, replaced by the muffled padding of soft footsteps on a carpet.

CREEEEAK

An old door groans open, unveiling a child's room. A gentle knock coming from the front door reaches Gaia's ears, prompting her slow approach—one step, two steps...

After several steps, the door... Opens.

Birds chirp from afar, and down below, flowers bloom in a burst of colours. Wings flutter, footsteps echo in a hallway—a signal of his arrival, Phanes. Inside the Olympus Palace, Zeus lounges on his throne, one hand on his chin, the other on his leg, in a state of divine ease. Phanes, the god of life, strides towards Zeus, accompanied by Limos.

Limos speaks up, addressing Zeus.

"Behold, Zeus, thou art in our midst. Thy people, ensnared in the clutches of deprivation, suffer from hunger. Please shed light on the details of thy planned strategy to alleviate this prevailing affliction."

Phanes interrupts with a commanding voice.

"Cease, for we have not ventured to this place with the intention of prevailing in a futile argument. You are well aware of the inevitable outcome. Amidst your cohort of two thousand slaves that pull the sun and the moon, there exists an individual whose forthcoming destiny, perceptible to my discerning gaze, harbors intricate information that demands your enlightenment. Zeus, take heed, for you are destined to succumb to the influence of this particular entity among them."

Zeus, regal in his bearing, inclines upward upon his throne.

"Summon the one destined to be my harbinger, Phanes. Bring forth the entity whose fate intertwines with my demise, for their presence in Olympus is now demanded."

In response, Limos asserts,

"Zeus, he is but a fledgling in the grand design of existence, a mere child. Would you, in your grand might, truly venture into audacious realms that tread upon the fragility of such a tender being?"

Zeus, his divine countenance shrouded in wrath, unleashes a thunderous roar,

"Limos, do you dare challenge my decision? Even the young bear destinies beyond your comprehension. Bold actions are the sovereign prerogative of gods. Have faith in the cosmic plan, for to question it is to challenge the very fabric of existence. The child's fate is mine to decree, and none shall dare to question it!"

Phanes fixes his gaze on Zeus, feeling the weight of an impending revelation. The echoes of the fifth law resonate in his divine consciousness, like a mysterious melody vibrating with unimaginable power.

In response, Zeus pauses, locking eyes with Phanes. In that silent exchange, Zeus senses that Phanes holds crucial knowledge. A moment of anticipation hangs in the air as Zeus knows he's on the brink of speaking words that will shake the heavens and ripple through the cosmos.

Limos succumbs to an intensification of respiration, the cadence of inhalations and exhalations markedly escalating into a palpable manifestation of heightened breath.

"Zeus, with due deference, your assertion appears incongruent with the truths that govern our realm."

In that instant, Zeus hurled a lightning bolt, precisely targeting Limos's head. The impact was catastrophic, causing her head to explode and showering blood over Phanes. Phanes turned slowly, confronting the lifeless form of Limos with a somber gaze.

"The second decree binds all gods to remain loyal to Zeus, the God of the Sky, as people commonly name him. Ha... it's just, that...!"

Phanes' voice trails off, a subtle sorrow colouring his words. Yet, the grip of unease did not linger for long. Phanes, the God of Life, beheld the passing of a soul, and though the weight of mortality touched him, the demise he witnessed held justice. In crafting the laws, Phanes had ordained a balance, and in this moment, the departure met the standards set by him. The fleeting sense of dread yielded to the assurance that the laws of creation, woven by Phanes himself, held true even in the face of life's end.

And so, Phanes turned from Olympus and took to the skies, his mission clear. He soared forth, bound for the mortal realm, in pursuit of the one destined to challenge Zeus's reign.

The door swings open, unveiling a tall figure dressed in all white. Glowing wings extend from his back, and a crown of Madonna Lilies rests on his head.

Gaia looks up and starts to speak, stuttering,

"Ph- Pha-!!"

Phanes interrupts her with a booming voice,

"Silence! I haven't come to talk to you. I'm here for the one you call your own, Thanatos."
