"silly. of course it was a dream."

Elizabeth huffs. "uh, what are you talking about exactly?" Evan hums.

"Nothing, Bethy. I just happy to see peopl— you." Evan would smile, yawning right after.

"Sleepy?" Elizabeth asks, looking at her younger brother with care. Evan couldn't help but believe she was fake.

She's not. There's no way. "Y-yeah. I'll sleep now." He mummers hesitantly, almost as if he believes once he closes his eyes, she'll be gone.

Elizabeth nods, walking away. Evan quickly falls to sleep.

Oh great. A void.

How funny! Will and Evs are here too!

What a plot twist.

"William?" Evan grumbles. The other laughs.

"Dear boy, I heard you feel odd about the... Real world, huh?" Grandpa— William rasped.

Evan didn't want to say yes but he knew that William already knew that. "I hope you had fun, buddy! You're not going back."

The younger boy freezes up. He should've known better than to sleep. Now he'll have to go back to his old ways, no?

"Bye-bye!~"

Evan blinked and he was back? The room looked duller though. Why's that? He mustered up all his strength— which was little to nothing— to get up and out of bed.

Barefooted, he roamed the place. Nothing. Nobody.

He left only to see the sad sky he'd always wake up to. Only this time it's raining.

Evan rushes to the place the other boy— who he's already forgotten the name of—had brought him. Nothing. It didn't look the same.

He went home and it looked as if he never left.

Dreams could be wild and so believable. How could Evan become so guliable?

Then, it hit him. Realization ran him over harder than it ever has before. "a stupid useless dream." He concluded. Why did he move? Only god knows.

Evan doesn't sleep walk so he found this weird. He wanted to believe it wasn't a dream but then again, being stuck here is really driving him absolutely insane.

"Maybe not..?" He can hope but it all fall down to one thing.
