~Somi's POV~

"Somi, you've arrived bright and early!" Ms. Park exclaimed with a touch of surprise, carefully placing a thick stack of organized lesson plans onto the desk, accompanied by the gentle clatter of her computer settling down beside them.

"I have some work to catch up on," I explained, passing her a small smile.

"An entire hour ahead of schedule," Ms. Park noted, glancing at her watch. "If only everyone was as dedicated as you."

I swiftly bowed, my cheeks flushing slightly as I softly chuckled, "You're being too kind, Miss."

"Well, I was about to ask if you could run some errands for me, but it seems you have your hands full," she remarked with a playful sigh. "I'll go grab myself a cup of coffee and print out today's test. Be back in a jiffy!"

I nodded, watching her exit the classroom before my smile quickly faded away. Hurriedly, I moved behind her desk, reaching for her computer. With the pink sticky note containing her password, I swiftly gained access to her device. It was only a matter of seconds before I accessed her drive, clicking the file titled "Unit 2 Chem Test Answers". Too easy. Retrieving my phone, I quickly captured a few snapshots before promptly closing the tab and shutting down the computer.

How else could I get good grades in Chemistry? I was determined to get into Princeton no matter what. I wasn't a regular cheater—just when it came to chemistry. Despite excelling in all other subjects with straight A's, I couldn't seem to grasp Chemistry, and if I didn't resort to cheating just this once, I risked plummeting to a C.

"Somi?" a voice inquired.

My head snapped up.

"Oh, Jungkook."

Phew.

"What are you doing?"

"Ah, I was catching up on some homework when I realized I had no pencils. Do you have any I could borrow?" I calmly asked.

"I suppose," he replied, opening his backpack and searching for one before extracting a sharpened yellow pencil.

"Thanks." Taking the pencil from his hands, I returned to my desk and opened my notebook. As it turned out, I did have some work to catch up on after all.

I sensed his gaze lingering on me, and an awkward silence hung in the air like a heavy veil. Despite the palpable tension, I decided to brush it aside; after all, nothing noteworthy had occurred. Right?

Yes.

I released a shaky breath, the memory of the pregnancy test results flashing in my mind. If only I could muster the courage to stand up and punch Jungkook right on his perfectly sculpted face. But no. Nothing happened after all.

Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing fucking ha—

"Do you regret that night?" Jungkook asked.

There was a moment of pause. I could hear him let out a weary sigh.

"It was a one time thing," I deadpanned. "No strings attached."

"Okay."

Okay? Was that all he had to say? I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes. He stood there, holding his backpack tightly to his chest, his gaze fixed on the ground as if searching for answers. I closed my eyes, my head pounding. This whole situation is fucked up stupid.
