If you want your story to be featured in one of our reading lists, there are some important things you need to know. Read through the submission guidelines carefully before filling out the submission form. This will ensure your story meets our profile's submission requirements.
S U B M I S S I O N R E Q U I R E M E N T S
■ Wattpad Policies. Your story must adhere to the Content Guidelines, Terms of Service, and all other Wattpad policies. All stories with mature content should be given the mature rating before submissions. If you are unsure, please refer to the content guidelines.
■ Story Language. All submissions must be in English as that is our profile's only capability at this time.
■ Story Status. To ensure that our community are given the best works that they will love, we will only accept completed or nearly completed (and regularly updated) stories. In this way, our community will be able to read through and will not have to wait for the completion of the stories. If a nearly completed story has been abandoned for two months, it will be removed from our reading lists.
■ Series. We only accept the first story in a series, and it's very rare that we feature more than one story from the same author at a time. If your story is on our reading list and you want a new story to replace it, submit a form for the new story. If it meets our submission guidelines, your new story will replace the old one.
■ Technical Aspects. As previously stated, we would like to give our community the best works that we can curate and that would include stories with appropriate and readable grammar, spelling, and punctuation. While we are not requiring you to have a story that's edited to perfection, we do suggest you read through your submission before you submit it and to take advantage of writing tips from Wattpad Creators.
■ Storytelling Aspects. We want to share the different worlds and plots that exist within Wattpad so we are pushing to feature works with strong storylines and an air of creativity. As usual, we are not looking for the perfectly crafted world but we do want to feature works that are well-written, creative, and more unique.
■ Relevance. All stories must be relevant to our profile and the reading list that you would like to submit to. You can find the available reading lists below! Additionally, we have several tags below that can help determine if your story is a great fit so check them out to see if there are multiples matches.
■ We do not consider any submission attempts through our inbox, message board, or comment sections. We have a reading list submission form that you can find in our master list of links on our bio! Or you can find the link to that in our comment here.
