3+3=6 (JOLIVIA)

Chapter 3

"You guys are having the first set of identical triplets in the past 6 years." 

Olivia's jaw fell open and hit the floor faster than you could blink. Josh also couldn't form words, just staring at the doctors.

"What? How? That can't be true! I've miscarried so many times but TRIPLETS? I can't believe it."

She felt a single tear fall from her eye and looked at Josh. The tears were falling faster now.

"You did it, Baby. We finally did it."

"It's been 5 years since I went to a doctor's appointment and was happy." She looked up at the doctors, still standing there. "You mean, there's 3 humans in there?" They nodded at her, smiling as they turned the screen back at her to point out everything. Josh just watched as she finally was happy as she nodded at the screen. 

"You sure it's real?" He rubbed his hand on her thigh.

"It's real, Liv. There's three heart beats too." He turned her face to look at him and he kissed her. "It's real."

"Wren! Come eat lunch!"

"Okay Grandma!" Wren ran down the stairs and sat down at the kitchen counter to eat her mac and cheese. She started to eat it quickly, but still managed to play with her blocks. "Grandma? When will mommy and daddy be home?" 

"Soon sweetie." She said with concern in her voice. She didn't want to see her daughter upset again.

"Okay! Can we watch bluey?"

"Of course." She helped Wren down from the table and they sat down on the couch together. 20 minutes later, Wren was asleep. She turned down the volume and started reading a magazine that was sitting on the table next to the couch. She heard the front door open and got up to greet her daughter and son in law.

"Hey. How'd it go?" She said gently, noticing the tear streaks that have dried on Olivia's face. She was prepared for the worst.

"Better than I thought it would."

"Ahh! That's good! Like I told you, there's a healthy baby in there you just got to believe it."

"Yeah about that..." Josh started. Her face fell. Must run in the family.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Nothing mom. There's actually three healthy babies in there." Her mom started bawling. Also must run in the family.

"W-Wait your serious?!"

"Yes mom! I'm serious!"

"Come here!" She pulled them in for a hug. "I told you so." They laughed a bit, then Wren woke up. Oh right.

Wren.

She yawned as Olivia walked over to her and Josh kept talking to her mom. She took a seat next to wren as she hugged her.

"I missed you mommy."

"I missed you too. Hey can I talk to you?" She nodded and turned more towards her mom. "You know how your going to have a sibling?"

"Yeah!"

"Well your going to have three." Her jaw dropped, just like olivia's. "Triplets, Wren." Wren was in so much shock she fell forward and hugged her mom.

"Mommy?"

"Hm?"

"Your my hero." Everyone heard that, making their hearts melt. Olivia's eyes welled up with tears. "I love you mommy. I can't wait to meet them."

"Me too." Olivia sniffled. Josh came over and sat down on the couch with them.

"I'd say let's go out for dinner."

And hour later, they were at Cheesecake Factory. Happy, eating together. Olivia just sat, twirling her pasta, thinking "How is this my life?". She was so happy. The way Josh would make wren laugh so hard she'd cry, and how they got married after they met on a disney show. Life's crazy and sometimes after things go bad, there's always something waiting for you in the end. Just like this.

Josh leaned over to his wife and whispered:

"I love you." in her ear. She knew she was going to be okay. They were going to be okay.
