3+3=6 (JOLIVIA)

Chapter 6

-2 weeks later-

Having 4 kids in the house while dealing with family and a young child was quite a lot for the both of the parents. Olivia hasn't showered since she left the hospital, (1 week ago) and she thought she smelled like everything a baby could smell like mixed with sweat, and Josh has been cooking all the meals. 

"Josh! Can't you just listen to me for once?"

"I'm trying mom! Now what is it that you want so bad?" She sighed.

"Son, Olivia's not doing well. You can see it in her eyes! She's stressed and if she looks down and finds out that her hair is starting to get split ends, she's going to be hella pissed. I'll take the kids and let her take a bath or something. She needs it."

"Mom I know. I see it too but there's 4 of them now! it's not a one person job."

"I have your sisters, father and my sister. Now go get your kids and take some time to relax. God knows if she doesn't she's going to pop one day and start throwing everything onto you. I did it to your father before."

"Okay I will. Call me if you need anything."

"I will but I doubt it."

"And remember, no peanut-"

"-butter for Wren? Yes I know! Now shoo."

With the kids being gone, the couple started a bath and both relaxed for a while. Everythign was fine until she snapped. Oops.

Tears started streaming down her face. She threw her head in her hands, and josh hugged her from behind.

"I can't do this! It's too much!" Josh started tracing patterns on her arm to calm her down like she liked.

"Baby, just think about it. Mom has them and it's going to get better. This is the hardest part."

"I know but there's 4! That's like a whole damn zoo! Feeding them is already a hassle-"

"And I'm with you through it all. Look at you. Your the best most amazing person to every walk this planet. It's hard being a mom. I've got you though. Don't you dare worry.

"Okay..."

"Just take a deep breath." She did as told and he wiped her tears. He grabbed her big fluffy robe and wrapped her up, kissing her all over his face.

They spent the rest of the night watching movies together and fell asleep cuddled up on the couch. 

-next morning-

Josh went to go pick up the so-called "zoo" as he talked to his mom once again.

"SO how'd she do?"

"Last night we took a bath and watched movies... she did have a mental break down and she was stressed. I told her I would come get them so she could eat her avocado toast. She thought that we would never have any time together anymore but I told her otherwise."

"Good. She needed it. It's going to take her a while to get back into the swing of things, but it's only been 2 weeks. they are still little. Wren said she wished she could help her mommy because she could even see it too."

"I agree. I'll show everything to her. SHe has been really excited."

When Josh got home, the rest of the day went smoothly, Olivia laughing and smiling for the first time in 3 days. Wren even helped her. It was playing out just they way it was supposed to.
