"Mih ago call you later, yer??"

"Yeah, get home safe." We stood on my veranda still in each other's embrace after a rather long and passionate kiss. My mom could peep out one of the front windows and see us at any moment, but who cares??

"I will....a shoulda my yard you deh now. When you a move in with me??" He pressed my body more against his, holding my hips.

No caz it look we mek outta play dough, weh we can fuse together. Ain't we made outta skin and bones??

"One day."

We stood there a little longer.

"Ago go weh now, B." He drops a quick kiss on my lips before stepping away, staring at me a little longer. I suddenly felt empty.

"Okay, drive safe."

"Yeah, B. Don't worry yourself."

I miss him already...

I watched him reverse out of the driveway until the tail lights were out of view before going inside, carrying my extra bags and my suitcase in tow.

"Mommy!! Mih deh yah!" I called out. There was no one in the kitchen or the living room.

"Then a who fah car that inna the driveway?? Oop—, she find man!?" I dramatically gasped, pressing a hand on my chest, and made my way up the staircase, struggling with my luggage.

"Wow, Mih know seh mih text har saying that I'm coming home today so the man coulda at least wait downstairs to assist his... stepdaughter??" I talked to myself.

But me bright eee!

I spent about an hour and a half packing out my things as well as stuff DeShawn bought for me on the trip. While watching a movie on my bed, I heard footsteps in the hallway, and curiosity was eating me up inside. I couldn't sit there for another second, I sneaked out of bed and peeked out.

They had already gone down the stairs, and I didn't waste another minute there. I went down just in time to see Mom hugging a rather tall man. He looks like one of those sugar daddies, not saying he's in his 80s, he seems to be in his late 50s, with a little bit of gray in his hair and beard, dark skin and muscled.

He whispered something to her. She smiled and then went up on tiptoes. He bent his head to meet her, and they kissed, his hands resting on her hips for a while before moving to cup her ass, her arms found wrapped around his neck.

Bwoy, them festive bad eee! Go, Mommy, go!

I waited for them to finish that, but it seemed like they weren't going to stop anytime soon. I leaned against the rail and cleared my throat. They jumped apart and looked up at me. I smiled, impishly.

"Good evening, mother and company." I grinned.

"U‐Uh, LaNae. When did you get back??" Mom took a deep breath and fixed her clothing.

A wah yaa brush off, ma??

"Never see me text you??" The grin disappeared off my face. I watched her avoid my gaze and rolled my eyes.

Goodly did a roll in the sheets wul day and ave har phone off deh now....a can't bother

"Anyways, a who him??" I sounded rather rude but I didn't care the least.

"This is Antwon....my friend and colleague. Antwon, this is my daughter LaNae. " She introduced us. I raised an eyebrow at that introduction.

Okay, so we finna pretend that mih never see a chups deh?? Alright.

"Nice to finally meet you, LaNae. I have heard so much about you." He smiled and gave me a little nod.

Oh, so she a chat me wid har man??

"Likewise, good things I hope." I smiled back.

"Yes, excellent to say the least." He replied. The wedding band on his finger caught my eye and I subtly raised an eyebrow.

This ago be interesting....

"I will leave you two be. Have a great night y'all." I went back to my bedroom and once inside, I leaned against the door, shutting it.

"Loraine, Loraine, Loraine, Looorrraaiinnee! Why you a tek the ppl deem maaaannn?" I sang before belly flopping onto my bed.

She nuh fraid a problem??
