Despite the chaos I found above the surface, the voice guided me,
Despite the discord that waited ashore, the voice made me feel warm.

Two figures were seen running through the trees that night. One was a slender short man, the other a muscular taller man. The slender man held his stomach tightly as if in pain. When the footsteps behind them stopped, they ran farther into the jungle. When the world seemed to disappear behind them, they finally took a break.
"That was close, right Haruki?"
Realising that the soft forest buzz was his response, he turned around. Haruki was on his knees, head held down and silent.
He raised his head slowly, smiling then lifting him hand revealing a deep cut through his stomach. It had soaked his brown garments in blood.
"Do you think I'll make it?"
Kaito hesitantly shook his head no.
The events leading to the stabbing of Haruki were simple. A scuffle after the gruesome announcement in his room. He got cut as Kaito struggled to escape, he was distracting the guards. He decided to depart after smashing a wooden stool on the guard's head, joining Kaito in his escape.
Kaito hugged him tenderly, kissing his lips as well.
"I never dreamed of me dying like this."
"Me neither."
