The detective's car had just pulled up to an abandoned warehouse. This is the place? Luke asked. Yep. It sure is spooky-looking as hell. Chris said. What makes you think that RavenStrike would be here?
This warehouse, The detective explained. Is, was owned by Walker. Four years ago, he told the city that this would be a place for kids. Kinda like a WMCA. But when it was where he would make anyone he didn't like sleep with the fishes.
And I know that he is here because back when I tried to lock Walker's ass up the first time. I found evidence that this was RavenStrike's favorite place to make his boss's problems go away. Guess we got our answer. Chris said.
George pulled out his gun and both Chris and Luke were ready for what might or would happen when he opened the back door. The inside of the building was huge and filled with large wooden crates.
Everywhere. They were stacked on each other. But the big problem was that RavenStrike could be hiding or lurking anywhere. So they had to move through with caution.
Watching every corner and shadow. Anything that might move. Until they spotted both Raven and a tide-up Veronica. Found them. Luke whisper. Just then a call came in. Raven answered it. Hello. Yes, Milo has been captured.
I told the boss that punk would fail. Now, what? Get rid of the girl. He smiled and said. You've got it. Get rid of her. He hung up the phone, grabbed his crossbow, and loaded it. They knew what it meant.
Oh, hell no. Chris said. My thought exactly. George replied. OK, here is the plan. You two get Veronica while I keep him distracted. Raven approached Veronica and was about ready to open fire.
Well, sorry kid. But it looks like you will not live to see prom. He was about to shoot her until it was shot out of his hands. Hold it right there, RavenStrike. Detective George. Step away from the girl.
Fine. I did have to kill you anyway. Really. Both you and your partner could barely nail me with those bullets. You really do think that those are going to work a second time? No. But it will slow you down. Bam. George shot him in the leg and ran into the maze of wooden boxes.
But while the bullet did hurt, RavenStrike was still able to chase after him. While Chris and Like went to untie Veronica. Hey, Ronny? Miss us. You two. Don't worry we will have you out of this.
George and RavenStrike went running in the large maze, running between tight spaces. Dark corners. Not sure where the other one would pop out. The detective had to look for any shadows moving.
But when you are being hunted like an animal it is hard to stay focused. Your heart starts to beat like a drum. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you. And fear starts to mess with your mind that it is for you to pay attention to your surroundings.
Your partner was right. RavenStrikes voice echoed. You should have just played by Walker's rules. Everyone should. He owns this town. And he will again. You think that he is afraid of what you and the cops might do to him.
Please. If he is not then why did he leave the city? Well, you did put the heat on him after all. But he is afraid of something, right? Oh, you mean that vision. I don't know much about that. But what I do know is one thing.
Walker and I are not the same. How so? Well, manly. If you did to me what you did to him. George peak around the corner thinking that Raven would strike.
But when he looked he saw nothing. He looked behind him and wham! He was hit to the floor and stood over him telling him. I would have killed you that same day. George had swiped his feet and then took off running but he would not get very far.
Because the way that he ran down was a dead end. RavenStrike was blocking the only way out. Looks like our game has reached its end and guess what? So has your life. Before RavenStrike could pull the trigger.
