Part 18: "Cat vs Raven."

Over at Town Hall. The building was on lockdown. Because RavenStrike was inside mopping the floor with bodyguards and wetting it with their blood as he slashed and cut his way through each and every one of them. Because the room that he was making his way to was where his third target was. Mayor Cynthia Cooper, who was also the aunt of Veronica Cooper. And both she and her father were there, along with Detective Milo.

As they locked the door they all could hear the loud sounds of guns being fired. I take it that must be the RavenStrike guy that you warned me about. The Mayor had asked. Indeed. Milo replied. Okay, we can't stay here. We need to get out of here. There is a secret passageway behind the bookshelf. Veronica and her father moved it and saw that she was right. How did you know this was here? Her brother asks. I found this on my first day on the job. 

Now come on. Outside, the detective and I had just arrived. Okay. I will go in through the front and help my Milo. Do you think that you can buy me some time to get them out of there? Let's find out. As we both had gotten out of the car we both went in through different ways. The Detective went in through the front door, while I went in through a window on the second floor. As we both went searching around we also had to be on our guard.

Because RavenStrike could be lurking around any corner. But thanks to my cat abilities I was able to see and hear where to go even in the dark. George searches every dark hall for his partner and The Coopers. But so far he found nothing.

Until he heard the sounds of footsteps up ahead. He approached the sound with caution and his gun ready to fire. He jumped from around the corner and was about to open fire until he saw that it was his partner and The Coopers.

George? Milo. Oh, man. I am so glad to see you, partner. Me too. I thought you were RavenStrike. I did too. But luckily we haven't bumped into him. Well, let's be certain about that. Let's get out of here. But just as he turned the corner he saw a gun pointed right at his face.

Leaving so soon? I don't think so. It has been a long time, officer. It's detective now. Either way. You should have left this alone. I was only hired to just kill both you and the mayor. But not her family or your partner.

You're free to go. Okay. Milo told him. Both he and George looked at each other and when he saw George nodded his head. Milo shot the gun out of his hand and punched him smack across the jaw. And they all had made a run for it.

And even though it was dark and I was across the other part of the building I heard the sound of the gunshot and thanks the my cat hearing I knew where it came from. And I followed it.

The Coopers were running for their lives, while the two officers did their best to shoot at RavinStrike but he dogged or blocked the bullets with one of his knives. They all kept running until they reached a room where there was nowhere left to run.

They were now trapped and appeared from the darkness like some kind of dark arch or some kind of killer robot from the future. When he enters the room you can just feel the power and evil with every step that he took.

But the two men did not give him a chance to pull out any weapon on him. They both double-team him as both detectives toss fists and punches. But while they were both well-trained men. This guy was like a machine.

He took them both down without breaking a sweat. Even Veronica's dad joined in to help. But RavenStrike gave him a black eye, a punch to the gut, and a broken arm. RavenStrike pulled out his gun and pointed it right at him. You should have left when you had the chance.

Oh, well. So much for the frying pan welcome to the fire. He pulled the trigger, and the bullet was about to hit him until It was blocked by one of the shields from off of the walls. Which was tossed by me. They thought that RavenStiker looked scary.
