Part 13: Secret of the Amulet.

"We did not waste any time getting back to my Aunt's apartment." And when we had come rushing inside I was trying to apologize for my reaction back at the show. At the same time, my Aunt was rushing to close all of the window curtains.

(Willow) Aunt Saraya. I am trying to tell you that I am sorry. Willow. Don't worry about it. Really? Yes, really. Alright then. Willow, I need you to tell me this what you did to that girl. Has anything else happened that you could not explain recently? Well, yesterday in class when Veronica was being mean to me I was like everything bad thing that she had done to me had all come rushing out like I was saying it but at the same time I wasn't, and in gym class I had tossed a ball at her like I had super strength. And even then when the balls were about to hit me it was like they were moving slowly and my body told me how to dodge them.

What else? Oh, and last night I had another strange dream and I mean this one was way stranger. Last night I saw these robbers robbing a Jeweler store. And what had happened at the show happened there too. I see. What is it? Willow, you might want to have a look inside your room. I went to my room and searched everywhere until I look underneath the bed and I was shocked at what I found.

I came back out and had drop a black bag filled with all of the jewels that I had seen last night. These are the same Jewelers that I had seen in my dream last night but, how are they here? Wait a second? When you told me to go and check out my room it was almost as if you knew that there would be something there. How did you know that? Because this happened to me when I had warned that amulet.

Who is that? I asked my Aunt. That is the goddess Saraya. Saraya, like you? I was named after her. Back when I was a little girl. Your grandmother had taken me on some of her journeys and I would about so many secrets about the world that we don't know about. And you wrote this? Before I was a fashion designer I was a professor of ancient myths and legends. This is one of them. The Goddess Saraya represents both sides of every woman. The light and the dark. God and bad.

Cats were her sign to ancient women. She would travel to our like most gods would and from the shadows, she would watch over like a silent guardian. But one day when she came across a pack of women slaves. She needed to help them. Like the cats that she was so fond of she realized that no one should be locked up like a pet. And she had found the purest out of them all. A young slave girl who was left for dead by the slave treaters. How did she help her?

She gave her your amulet. Which had not only saved her. But it also allowed her to save the other women. Just like the others that came after her. Others? There have been others who have dawn the amulet, including me. You? For a time I did use the powers that it gave me to seal things. But I could not do what I saw you do. But when I had look it up it said that the amulet had been lost to time.

How did you find it? I was leaving the fashion hall one day and I saw a man in a silver suit have it? I didn't care who. I was about to leave but I don't know how. But I swear that it felt like it was calling to me. So, I stole it. And when I had only worn it for a couple of nights I was like a real live Catwoman. But I think that might have been the reason why its power could no longer work for me. So I sent it to you. Why? I was looking at a picture that your mother had sent me of you and somehow like I could feel what the amulet was thinking.

I knew that it would be safe in your hands. So then everything that has happened to me was because of the amulet? Yes. Do you still have any of its abilities? Just three. Reflexes, agility, and heighten senses. Oh and my favorite one. Claws. That's four. I told her. I know. But I want to know what have you been able to do, Willow. Whenever I have worn this, bad things would happen to people that were mean to me.

Like I was giving them. Bad luck. Aunt Saraya told me. What else. Besides what I told you there is one odd thing. I went back to my room and came back with the drawings that I had drawn over the years and told her. Whenever I sleep, I always end up in some strange place. Sometimes a futuristic city. Other times? She asked me. A fantasy world. How long have you worn the amulet? Everyday.

Women like you have been called by many things throughout the centuries. "Devils, demons, witches." But there is only one name for you Willow. And like what's that? You are a Niko. A Niko? That is what you are you part human and part cat. There have been others. All of them were like you. It has been over 3,000 years since there has been one. So I share the same name as the city? any idea who would want to hide all of this?

I don't know. But what do know is this. It was a good thing that they did. If someone like Walker had ever known about this. There is no telling what he could unleash. After the whole history lesson that my Aunt had just given me. I step out for some air sitting on a rooftop and Misty had arrived to check on me.
