It's the year 2000, Sano Shinichiro sits in front of a bike in his mechanic shop next to his friend and former rival, Higami Ryu, both of them have a cigarette dangling out of their mouths. "Should you both really be smoking with all this oil and gas around?" Akashi Takeomi asks as he sits on a stool not to far from the duo who are sitting on the ground
"yeah why not?" Ryu says with a shrug
"These motherfuckers have a death wish, that's what it is" Wakasa Imaushi tells him
"How come you don't smoke in front of Hanabi?" Keizo Arashi, also known as Benkei asks Ryu
Ryu blows out a cloud of smoke and sighs. "I've gotta be a good influence for her. Can't have 'er ruinin' her lungs ya' know. Would you guys want cha' kids to be smokers?"
"Kid? She ain't your kid man" Takeomi tells him with a laugh
Ryu narrows his eyes at Takeomi as if he just said something offensive. "Fuck you mean? I'm a single dad alright. Hanabi is basically my kid since I'm the one raisin' 'er." Ryu looks at Shinichiro who's reaching over for a screwdriver "Tell me you don't feel that way about Manjiro, Shin"
Shinichiro laughs softly. "I mean sometimes. Not like Dad was ever around or even a good person. You know Manjiro once called me dad. Cried myself to sleep that night" He admits sheepishly and laughter echoes the walls of SS motors
It was like this most days. The former first-generation Black Dragon members would hang out in Shinichiro's shop along with Amatersu's former leader Higami Ryu. Just like Black Dragons, Amaterasu was also disbanded. But unlike Black Dragons, Amaterasu was not continuing its generations. Black Dragons were currently at its 7th generation while Amaterasu ended at its first. "speaking of the kids, isn't it weird they haven't ran in here yet?" Benkei asks and on cue they hear loud yells from outside the shop
"speak of the devil or some' like that" Takeomi says
Immediately Ryu puts out his cigarette on the ashtray and starts waving around the air to get rid of the smoke. The next moment, Hanabi runs in, followed by Manjiro and then Baji and then Haruchiyo. Hanabi runs right into Ryu's arms and the older man wraps his arms around his sister letting her curl into his chest and then the shouting starts. "HANABI CALLED ME THE B WORD!" Manjiro yells to his older brother
Hanabi has a hand over her left eye as she glares at the tattle. "Motherfucker doesn't start with a B" She tells him
Ryu gasps at the curse word spoken and the other older boys have to hold in their laughter. "Yeah well, she called me that!" Manjiro whines, shaking Shinichiro by the shoulders while he also puts out his cigarette
"Hanabi! Why'd you call Manjiro that?" Ryu asks his sister who only lets out a little hmph and sits in her older brother's lap, still covering her left eye
