Y/n Y/l/n was not included in Death-Cast's call list as she was not predicted to die on that day. However, her significant other, Hermione Granger, who had been in a relationship with her for three years, received the call.

Y/n and Hermione were sitting together on the bed, but it was awkwardly silent between them. They were both lost in thought, not knowing what to say.

What can you say in this situation?

Hermione breathed deeply and glanced at her partner, who seemed lost in thought and staring at the ground. Hermione comforted her by gently rubbing her back between her shoulder blades, and this brought Y/n's focus back to the present moment.

Y/n and Hermione shared a quiet instant, gazing into each other's eyes. Hermione leaned in closer, resting her head on Y/n's shoulder and taking a deep breath.

The two of them held hands while they whispered to each other. The room was quiet, but she felt a soft kiss on her shoulder from time to time.

The small sound of the clock on the wall was the only sign that time was still passing. It was a reminder that, despite everything that had happened, life was still moving forward for Y/n. As much as she wished it wasn't.

"What do you want to do?" Y/n asked as she looked at Hermione, who was already staring back.

"I have to call my parents, and say my...goodbyes" Hermione sighed as she sat up straight and squeezed her lover's hand.

"Maybe they can fly here in time?" Y/n says, but Hermione just shook her head. They both knew the flight was over ten hours and who knew when the first flight out was?

It would more than likely, be too late.

Hermione stood up and kissed the top of Y/n's head, then grabbed her phone. The same phone that told her she was going to die a few minutes ago.

Y/n sat still on the bed, watching as Hermione walked into the bathroom and pulled out her phone to make a call. Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as if something was off. She got up from the bed and made her way to the living room, her eyes scanning the wall full of pictures that held memories of their time together.

As she looked at each picture, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over her. Each photo represented a moment that they had shared, a memory that they had created. Y/n couldn't help but wonder if these pictures would be the only things she had left to remind her of those moments.

Y/n stood in the living room, feeling helpless as she listened to Hermione crying softly on the phone. She could hear Hermione apologizing to her mother for something that was beyond her control.

The sound of Hermione's tears tugged at Y/n's heartstrings, and she could feel her own emotions start to bubble over. She knew she needed to step away before she broke down completely, so she quietly slipped out into the backyard of their rented home.

The cool evening air was a welcomed relief, and Y/n took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She leaned against the wall, feeling the rough bricks against her back, and closed her eyes, allowing herself a moment to collect her thoughts.
