Y/n's P.O.V:
I skidded down the stairway steps to the girls bathroom, I open the door to find a girl I've never seen before.
"Uh...hello?" I call out and she jumps slightly, her eyes catch mine as she turns to me.
"You must be the new girl right?" I ask as I walk over to her, extending my hand to her. She takes it gently and shakes my hand, I give it a squeeze before retracting it back to my side.
"Y/n" she whispers and I laugh.
"What a coincidence! That's my name too!" I laugh again, causing her to giggle slightly.

"You can call me Jack though, that's an old nickname my grandfather gave me" I say and she nods slightly.
"Well it was nice meeting you!" I say with a wave as I go to walk out of the bathroom, completely forgetting why I came in here in the first place.
"Wait! Uh...can you help me get to my common room?" She asks and I look back at her with a soft smile.
"Of course, what have you been placed in?" I ask.
"Y/h/h" she says and I smile.
"Yeah come on, I'll show you" I say as I extend my hand out to her once more.
It's quiet between us as we walk, I give her hand a squeeze every so often to make sure she's okay.
When we arrive to the entrance of her house she looks at me, a little blush on her cheeks as drop her hand.
"Do you want to hang out for a while? It would be nice to have some company while I unpack" Y/n asks and I nod.
"I would love to" I say and her smile grows.
We walk through her common room to the dormitory's, she walks all the way to the end to a small room.
There was only one bed and I raise my eyebrows in surprise.
"You got a room by yourself? Enjoy it while it lasts" I laugh and she giggles.
As I look around, my eyes fall back on Y/n, who was now bent over looking in one of her boxes.
