Baby Alexander

~~~~~Avery POV~~~~~

Kenny lead me down to the nursery so I can see my baby.

"Are you nervous?"

I heard him asking me while patting my nervous hands. I smiled sheepisly and nodded.

"Don't worry, Adrian is there."

I bleaned at the thought of seeing Adrian. I couldn't wait to see him, and my baby girl. Or is it a boy?

"What's my baby?"

He smiled, "Why don't you go find out."

I saw Adrian through a window, craddling my baby in his arms. Our baby. He wore a blue small hat, and a blue outfit. He's a boy! Adrian saw me, and smiled waving me in. Kenny went back to Vix as I went inside.

"He's beautiful."

Adrian smiled and handed me the baby. I carefully placed his small head in the corner of my arm, and wrapped him in my arms. His eyes were brown with a glint of gold in it. I saw some of his black hair sticking out of his small, baby blue hat.

Adrian stood behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my right shoulder; a perfect view of the baby.

"What's his name?" I asked in a whispered as I watched his eyes drift shut, falling to slumber.

"Anything you want; as long as his middle name is Luca."

I gave him a curious side ways look, "Why Luca?"

He smiled, "Its my middle name."

I smiled at him, and kissed his cheek.

"Alexander Luca Duncan."

~~~~~Jared POV~~~~~

I walked cautiously into the Vampire palace, taking each step, each breath very carefully knowing if I get caught, I could easily get killed.

Last time I was here, I kidnapped Adrian, who is the King of Vampires now since their King had recently died from the battle in Hell.

I needed to find Adrian, and talk to him on joining alliance. Lord Malis, the old werewolf lord was killed by Vix, he had shot a death ball at him, Lord Malis hatred of Vampires were too deep, leading the five werewolf clans powerless without an alliance.

Having the Vampire alliance will make anyone invincable, since they have the largest and most feared army ever.

"He's beautiful."

I heard a woman voice, realizing I was in the nursery. I slowly peaked my head to see who they were; I saw Avery and Adrian behind her holding her waist.

They had a baby?

"Jared."

I frozed. SHIT! Adrian turned around with fury in his eyes just two inches away from me, about to rip my throat out. Avery backed up, and left the room with her baby in her arms trying to avoid this.

Adrian was choking me, slowly lifting me off the floor.

"Why are you here?"

He said through gritted teeth.

God damn, he wasn't this strong as Prince. Being the Vampire King really changes someone.

I raised my hands up, showing I came in peace and he growled at me.

"P-please, I co-ome i-in peace."

He loosened up so I could speak more clearly.

"I'm not here.. to start anything. I came here to offer the first clans alliance."

He narrowed his eyes. "I don't believe you."

I sighed under his grip. "Please." I begged.

"Give me a reason to believe you."

I saw this coming. Which is why I brought the necklace of friendship; it was his when we were youger, when werewolves and vampires got along in harmony. He gave it to me to show we'll be friends forever.

His eyes widened, and he dropped me on the floor.

"You saved that?"

I nodded, rubbing my throat.

He was silent for awhile, obviously thinking.

And thinking really hard.

Since the werewolf Lord has fallen, the next in line was his brother, who wants peace with the vampires and repair their ruined friendship. He had asked me to come, since Adrian and I were best friends.

"Okay."

I looked up, wincing at the sound of his voice.

He looked back at me, straight in the eyes. "If alliance is what you want, alliance is what you'll get. But listen to me when I say this; over cross the alliance and harm any of my people, my son, and especially my Queen,"

He paused, glaring at me.

"I will have your clan evaporated."

"Understood."

He nodded, "Good."

He was about to walk out of the roon, before I opened my mouth.

"Could we be friends?"

He frozed in his spot, staring at the door handle.

"We'll see."

And he left. Leaving me in here in pain, and in shock.
