Summer

25 3 3

Waking up past 9:00am.
Making breakfast potatoes and sunny-side up eggs.
Lemonade and cake for lunch
Or no lunch at all.
Sit outside for hours reading.
Playing in the almost dry creek with your little sibling.
Buying 79 cent peaches and bottles of green tea.
Walking the mile to the beach
Farmers markets, parks, carnival music,
All with no cares of pressing subjects.
Summer; May, June, August, July.
How the warm, kind months do fly.
