Healing Lights

-Chapter 2-

"Fine" Zoe sighed as I stood at the fence watching them jump. Zara texted me. Get home Mum wants you. my hands shook visually. I wasn't going back to the horrid place I call home with those shit people. It felt like I couldn't breathe. I didn't know what to do or say or how to respond to that message. the 1 thing i did know was I need Pin. I saw him sweeping the ground by the stalls. I decided to run to him. 

''Ev's.. Ev's what's wrong '' Pin said grabbing my shoulder gently. '' Pin.. Pin... I dont know what I did.. My Mum is upset at me... Im Scared. I- I Pin...'' I mumbled quickly. '' Everlee! ''
Sam yelled. I flinched then clung to Pin tighter. ''Your supposed to be in training. go, Run along'' Sam said. ''Sam.. She needs a minute okay. '' Pin said calmly taking me to Sadie's stall where we sat in the same corner. ''what's going on Ev's'' Pin said ''Pin.. Zara Messaged saying Mum wants me home. That usually means she's upset at me and I dont know what I did and I dont want whatever I did to affect the rest of us. She could take anything away from us. '' I said fearfully. ''Your gonna be okay Ev's '' Pin said '' How do you know'' I mumbled. '' I better go Pin.. the longer I wait the worst its gonna get'' I said running away from the barn.
''Pin. What's wrong with Everlee. She's not acting normal. She's more tired and I know it sounds rude but looks a lot skinnier..'' Sam said. ''A lot is going for Everlee right now. The most we can do is help Everlee Emotionally'' Pin said bluntly 

I slowed down at the door. ''EVERLEE!'' I flinched as I opened the door.

''Y-Yes..'' I said fear shaking through. ''Your grades are dropping.. The lower they drop the poorer you will be. Next exam A+ or Your 200 is gone'' My Dad said. '' Yes But I got an A last time '' I started to cry. I couldn't help it, School and Money and Friends and Everything is a lot to bare. '' I'm trying my best though.... Your Praising Mayla for a C!'' I yelled. Why. Why couldn't I keep my mouth shut '' Its 100 now '' My Mother yelled. 

''How was I supposed to get an A+ I'm Doing year 12 Mathematics! because YOU signed me up for it'' I snapped.. ''TRY HARDER!'' I kept getting yelled at ''I'm Sorry! I'M SO SORRY! Im trying my best and I will try harder. DONT YOU UNDERSTAND! I haven't eaten for weeks and I'm living off Emotional support from my friends!'' I yelled before running to the barn but changed my route. The beach was better. I sat on the ground the water rushing up against my ankles. 

I looked out at the horizon with a slight smile. hooves punted down the sand as the bright felids team appeared. '' Everlee! Hey!'' Zoe smiled brightly at me before the smile faded due to me ignoring her. '' Ev's'' Pin said dismounting and taking a seat beside me.  I looked to my side and gave him a slight smile.

''Well I guess we stop here'' Mia said annoyed ''I was hoping to go to the forest'' Suzie said brightly '' We can'' Pin said giving me his hand and lifting me onto Elvis.  I smiled leaning onto him as we cantered into some thick tree's. I rested my head on Pin's Shoulder. I laughed as Zoe tapped my knee to get me to move. ''Oh lookie here someone's decided to be jealous'' I mocked '' Oh shut it'' Zoe responded as I sat  up. we all slid off. Pin deciding to lift me down instead. They picked a good spot. you could see the ocean from here. we all sat by the ledge a few like me and Pin jumping down safely.  The few was Me, Pin Zoe and Marcus. the rest chatting up on the ledge. '' Lets see who can go deeper in the water before pulling out'' Zoe smiled at me. She knows I hate swimming . The boys followed us in me and Zoe a few steps ahead. Zoe shivered as I swam out. Pin beside me Marcus a few steps behind still '' Ugh'' Zoe sighed swimming out when Pin grabbed me and threw me in. I laughed and splashed him this may have turned into a splash fight. Zoe mocked us before Marcus joined in.
