" Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the 158th running of the Belmont Stakes. Today is quite the day for racing fans. People all over the country come to see the last jewel of the triple crown. Wild Survivor is attempting to be the next triple crown winner. She would be the first filly to win the triple crown. And she would have had the most interesting journey to fame yet. She had an accident at this very park a little less than a year ago. The accident ended her two year old season early, but she made a brilliant start as a three year old. But this won't be an easy race. At 1½ miles long, this will be the longest race Survivor has raced. The same odds come to almost every other competitor except Majestic Beauty. Majestic Beauty is the third filly to enter these acclaimed races. She has ran a two mile long race and has never raced under a mile. She had a good chance to make an upset because she can manage such distances. The other filly to race today is Wonderful World. This filly raced in the Derby and took a break from the Preakness to be fresh for the Belmont. She has shown good attributes, placing third in the Derby and taking a wide trip, she may have a chance. Both Midnight Runner and Mystifying trained by Brody Beffold will run today's race and are hoping to make a better finish than their last. Brody said he can only hope that luck is on their side. We have seven Belmont contenders today. Entered in today's race is the only other horse besides Wild Survivor to run all three races this year. He's back for one final race, to upset the triple crown. Trained by Essex Uleman, he says that his colt has peaked in his health, and claims that he could easily beat any horse by a number of lengths. And it's up to jockey Else Yenild to lead this horse past the wire first. Essex says that even if his horses looses, he claims, that it won't be lost without a fight. Else says the same thing, but claims that no horse can match Sealed Fate in top condition. Else herself has ridden Wild Survivor and says the horse is too wild to win such a difficult award. The final contender raced in the Preakness, I'll Take Him, has been the bettors underdog. Today, can another horse secure a triple crown? Or might a horse with wild beginnings only dream of a win." The announcer knew this race would be heated. But nobody could guess how this race would go down.
