It was hard to believe that only seven days had passed since they'd left for their internships. Everyone had returned the same, yet fundamentally different at the same time. There was a subtle shift in her friends' demeanor now that they'd gained some real experience in the field. They walked with their shoulders back and heads held higher, exuding more confidence than before. Sana listened to their stories with rapt attention, nodding along as they described their missions.

She'd made a point not to look in the boys' direction when someone mentioned their encounter with Stain. Her name had (thankfully) been left out of the official reports. None of the three boys had mentioned her or the Nomu in their statements to the police. As far as anyone knew, she had simply arrived on the scene to check on them after receiving Midoriya's SOS message in the class group chat... which was technically true and she would die on that hill.

She hadn't even told Mirko in fear of the woman reporting back to her teacher. For someone so tired all the time, he sure had a lot of energy when it was time to punish his more troublesome students.

It's not like she wanted to fess up, but she felt an obligation to share what she'd learned during the attack on Hosu. This knowledge could give them an advantage in their ongoing fight against the League of Villains. Thankfully, it was lunch and then time for Heroics, which meant Sana could put off her conversation with Eraserhead for a few more hours. She didn't have the slightest clue what she would tell him anyway, but she would have to try.

"It looks like they're talking about something serious. I wonder if they're dating." Shoto glanced up from his book at Mina's words. The pinkette, along with Jirou, Momo, and Hagakure were sitting a few seats down from him and craning their necks to look at something or someone across the cafeteria. The girls had decided to separate from the boys for the day, but Shoto either hadn't noticed or cared and had calmly seated himself at their table to be closer to the strawberry blonde. The youngest Todoroki was putting in a lot of effort to befriend her again. She would be lying if she said she didn't appreciate his persistence, but she wasn't quite ready to accept him just yet. But Mina and Kyoka had admitted to finding the boy unintentionally hilarious in a text a while back, so Sana had reluctantly allowed him to join them for lunch.

Mina currently sat with her cheek propped up on her fist, her eyes glued to the table where Sana and a guy with gravity defying hair sat huddled over a table conversing animatedly. "They've been sitting together more lately. Maybe that's the guy she was talking about at the Sports Festival? Jirou-"

"No, I won't listen in."

Mina pouted, going back to not-so-subtly stalk the pair. "She doesn't like him," Shoto observed aloud. The girls turned to him curiously.

"What was that, Todoroki?" Momo asked.

"Sana," he turned the page without glancing at them. "She doesn't like him romantically." He arched a brow at their echoing silence. He peered over the edge of his novel, soba halfway to his mouth. "That's what you were discussing, correct?"
