(Flash back when they were younger)
"Tommy? Come on let's go play!" Newt yelled across the room, running out of Thomas' home to the yard. "Newt- wait up!" He yelled back and stormed outside, tackling him as soon as he saw him.
Newt giggled, and Thomas smiled. Standing up Thomas walked down to the creek, Newt didn't follow. "Newt?"
He didn't move, Thomas walked back up to him, kissing his cheek and holding his hands in his. "What's wrong, love?" Newt shacked his head, grasping onto Thomas' hands. "Come on, you can tell me anything." He whispered.
Newt took a deep breath, "Do you think this is wrong, you know, us?" Thomas' eyes widened, "I don't think so, I don't find it wrong. I love you Newtie." Thomas whispered and kissed Newt on the forehead. "We're safe, don't worry."
Newt blushed, then smiled at his best friend. "I love you too, Tommy!"

Thomas POV (Dinner time)
"So honey, how was your day?" Mother asked me while she set my dinner plate down in front of me. "Great! But mum, I have a question.." I mumbled, starting to shake. "What's up, baby?" She said calmly, sitting in the chair next to me. "Do you find it weird that two boys hold hands and give each other kisses on the cheek?" Mother looked at me, confused of what I just said. "No, I don't. Love is love and as long as you're happy then that's all that should matter." I smiled, nodding to myself. She kissed me on the top of my head- walking into the living room where Father was.
