Newts POV

Right when I was about to go after Thomas, I was pulled back by Thomas' father.

"Hey it's going to be okay, trust me. He truly loves you, Newt, but it's time for the wedding."

I just hope he's right.

-

Thomas' POV

I regret talking to Newt that way, fuck I'm an idiot- what if he doesn't want to marry me now? Ugh.

Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see, due to the fact the wedding is just about to start.

-

Newt soon appeared out of the doors, my god he's so beautiful.
He was linked arms with my mother, I love how close those two were, and how close he was to my family in general. My family means so much to him since, well, he doesn't really have one anymore.
Tears started to coat my eyes but I held them back. No Thomas, there's no need to cry. But I knew I had every right too. So soon enough, when Newt came by my side, I started to cry. "Shh, Tommy." Newt whispered in my ear. "I'm sorry." I whispered. "I didn't mean to," he hugged me tightly. "I know-" he breathed out. "You look so beautiful, Thomas." He smiled at me, I grabbed his hand and kissed it softly as the room filled with awes and the priest started to speak.

-

"Now you may share your speeches."

I took a deep breath, making the choice that I'd go first.

"When I met Newt when we were seven, I knew he was the one. Crazy how a seven year old could think that right? I mean you're seven, you're just so young. But I knew it felt right. The thing is Newt is so much different then anyone else, and I'm so lucky to have that." I spoke in the microphone, I looked over at Newt who had a smile plastered on his face and tears rolling down his cheeks, I moved over and whipped his tears away. "I've always loved Newt, I wrote him letters since the day he left when we were seven, I cried myself to sleep because I felt half of me was gone due to him leaving. I never wanted him in pain, I never wanted to hurt him, but we were both broken. The thing is I just wanted to hold Newt in my arms for the rest of my life, I never wanted to get separated or lose him like back when we were little- I couldn't let that happen." I grabbed his hands in mine, looking into his eyes. "Newton Christopher Issac, I am so lucky to have you. I am so, so lucky. I'm sorry for being so harsh, I made mistakes. But thank y-you so mu-much for n-never leaving m-me," at this point I started to cry, I took a deep breath again. "I'm so in love with you Newtie." At that point it came out as a soft whisper. Sniffs from crying filled the room and so did claps. "I love you too, Tommy." He whispered.

"Newt, it's your turn." The priest said. Oh my god, is the priest crying too?

Newts POV

"Thomas is not like anyone else, and don't get me wrong when I say that I fell for him when we first met." People giggled, I smiled and so did Thomas. "Oh, Tommy, you saved my life." I looked over at him. "You saved mine, too." I nodded. "That's the thing about love, you save each other, you help each other, take care of each other, and love each other. And I can say that we've done it all, because I'm in love, and I'm pretty sure he is too." I let out a soft laugh. "Thomas Erin Anderson, I am so, deeply in love with you. Thank you for everything, I mean that. Thank you for dealing with me, helping me through all of my hard times with my depression and everything with my parents- just thank you. You're the most amazing soulmate, best friend, and husband I could ever ask for-" the priest handed me the rings, I grabbed Thomas' left hand and kissed it softly. "Forever?" I asked, slipping the ring on. Thomas grabbed my left hand too. "Forever." He answered, slipping the ring on my finger.

"Thomas Anderson and Newt Anderson, I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may now kiss." I instantly then pressed my lips to my now husband, smiling into the kiss.

Jackson then ran up to us, smiling widely. "You're now married dad and dad!!" He cheered, hugging both of us tightly. I smiled at Jackson then Thomas. "I guess so." I laughed and kissed Thomas again.

-

At the after party, a slow song came on. "Would you like to dance?" Thomas asked, putting out his hand. I nodded and took his hand.

We walked to the dance floor, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he placed his hands on my hips. "I can't believe we're now married," I breathed out. "Well believe it honey!" Thomas blurted out, I laughed and kissed his nose. "We're together-" Thomas stopped me by pressing his lips to mine. "At last." He finished, smiling at me.

"I love you." I whispered, rubbing my thumb on the back of his neck. "I love you more than anything, Newtie." I smiled and kissed him softly, resting my head on his shoulder as we danced slowly, everyone looking at us and clapping.
