You Found Me

Chapter Four

-YOU FOUND ME-

-Chapter Four-

Once he tells me the plan we take it into action. I get up and walk over to Adam. I tap his shoulder to get his attention Adam turns around and scowls at me.

"What do you want?" he snarls.

"There is...um...something I have to tell you." I say. Out of the corner of my eye I can see Emit taking down Don and Jake who are about 100 feet away. They were supposed to be hunting but Emit is trying to weaken them so they can't use their magic on us.

"Make it quick!" he said harshly. Emit finally knocked Don and Jake unconscious and he was headed this way for Adam. "Well get on with it!" Adam yelled. I flinched at his tone.

"Um...I...uh" I stuttered but thankfully Emit got behind Adam and hit him over the head with a rock. Adam fell to the ground, also unconscious.

"Come on, shift into a bird and follow me," Emit said then turned into a hawk and flew upwards. I swiftly turn into an eagle and catch up to him.

We fly over trees and valleys. after about 15 minutes of flying, Emit swoops down and lands beside a river. I follow suit and about 10 feet from the ground I change back. I fall from the sky and land right onto of Emit, making him fall onto his back. We can only use our powers for exactly 15 minutes before you automatically change back into your human form. It is like that so criminals can't get very far. I really don't know how our body can tell it has been 15 minutes, but it does.

"Sorry," I say. I landed face-to-face with him.

"Yeah," he said then pushed me off of him and stood up to go to the river we were by. I swiftly stand up and pull him back by his shoulder. He turns and faces me.

"What is your problem?!" I yell.

"Oh nothing," he said sarcastically.

"Are you still mad at me like earlier at he camp?" I asked.

"Are you the princess?" He asked. I stood there shocked. How did he know? "I heard Adam talking to you when you were at their camp and I didn't want to believe it but it sounded so believable especially since I found this..." he said taking out my knife that I had stole from the palace so I would have proof that I was the princess, incase I needed to prove it. The King and Queen always pass the knife to the heir to the throne so they can pass it on to the next one.

I sighed, "You wouldn't have believed me anyways. I didn't want anybody knowing. Before I left my old home, My sister was the only one who knew. Well, she wasn't my real sister. You see, The King and Queen got rid of me because they thought that I was not the right person. They would call me an accident and a mistake and they would tell Rebecca, my real sister, that she would be Queen even though I was the first born. Not many people knew I was their child. They didn't tell my grandparents or the whole country. Whoever knew was sworn to secrecy. One day, they decided that they would give me to a family in the Cabins. The family knew nothing of it so they took me. I ran away because I didn't want to be the Queen and I didn't want to live under their rules. Once Rebecca died, people who knew about me wanted me to become the Queen. My parents had to agree to this but I didn't want to so I ran."

He stood there for a minute and asked on dreaded question, "Why did you think our kiss was a mistake?" I think he was mad about me not telling him and walking away from him when he kissed me. I was hesitant at first but I was going to have to tell him some time.

"You are just using me. I have spent years making a wall in front of me and I am not going to let it crumple down because some guy thinks he can mess with my head. I don't play games when it comes to trust and I won't start anytime soon. So, if you thought I would be one of those girls that lets you tag along and then falls at your feet and once your done with them you leave, well you thought wrong then." I said to him harshly.

"Sam..." he whispered. He came closer to me and cupped my face with his hands. I looked into his dark red eyes. "I would never do that to you. I'm not one of those guys that messes with girls' heads. I...I think I am in love with you." My breath caught in my throat.

"H-how do I know you're not lying?" I whispered.

"I know trust is a hard thing for you, but I would go to the ends of the world for you. I have never used my powers outside of class but today I have used them more than once today. I would use them a thousand times if it meant saving you. I have never felt this before but when we touch I feel sparks and when we kiss I felt like fireworks were going off." he said in all seriousness.

I looked into his eyes and saw that he wasn't lying. I then leaned forward and our lips met. He instantly kissed back. Fireworks went off and right then I knew he wasn't going to leave me and I wasn't going to leave him because he was my soul mate.

"I love you too" I said once I pulled away.

So sorry for the long wait and I know this chapter isn't that long but I feel like I made up for it with what went on in the chapter. So Emit knows she is the princess. Will Emit treat her differently now that he knows? Will he leave her? Does she trust him enough?
