After Team 7 manages to survive their ordeal with the Akatsuki, they have an even harder challenge to face on top of the Akatsuki's return under a new leader.
It's been 5 years since Team 7 was formed, each of them were 17 and had grown significantly. Sakura was a Master Assassin, Sasuke was the closest to finding and killing Itachi as he's ever been, and Naruto was making leaps and bounds in his training under Jiraiya.
